We arrived and the employee who I suppose had the keys or something had no arrived yet. Our pick up time was at 9am and we did not get to leave until 9:40 because he was so late. Then we go to start signing the paperwork and he doesn't even apologize for having us wait so long. Not even so much as a hello. We had moving people waiting for us and it set us behind greatly.

This move was terrible! I requested to have a dolly and paid for it and it was not in the truck. I tried contacting them multiple times and even went in to get the dolly and the lady had already left for the day. I finally spoke to someone who said they would call me back and I still have not heard from anyone. I got an email with my receipt and was charged for the dolly that I never had, when I tried to email back (since that was the only option given) it was an incorrect email address given to me in the email! I will not be using uhual for any future moves.

I rented a pick up truck for moving some stuff at 12:48 pm and told the lady i might return it by 6 same fay but. Not sure, otherwise will return tomorrow and didn't mention any time, the rental was $47.00 I had to keep the truck for the next day, so around 11 am she called me and told me you have not returned the truck yet so you will be charged another $50. I saud I don't accept it because I didn't say I WILL return it at 6 same day. I tried to be reasonable and asked the rate is a daily basis and not an hourly or else but she kept sayying there is an extra $50 charge anyways, and refeered me to call customer service, after being on phone for about half an hour (waiting time and transfers) they solved the problem since it was less than 24 hours, the charged me for 1 day. I've rented haul from other places too but this one was really bad experience. I don't know if she's been trained for this job or not, she needs to study more about customer services. Another Issue is with the manager of used-car dealer which thhis Uhaul office is located in. He has no manner for veing a manager. He trying to bully me and tell me go out of this place if you have a problem with any offices in this premises, I told him I have not problem and argue with you, I have an Issue with Uhaul and I know how to deal with it, But he kept saying just leave the keys on the desk and leave,( the Uhaul desk, since she was not at her desk at the moment) I told him respectfully that I need to give they keys and she would check the truck and gas level etc then I can leave, but he was acting like a gangester or and pushing me to just leave the keys and leave, I yold him are you being responsible for Uhaul? He was just saying stupid stuff, and I told him I don't want to argue with you, since you have nothing to do with my problem. This spot is not a professional space for Uhaul dealer.

I was incorrectly charged for gas. I put two gallons in the tank prior to returning it. It was at the same level when I picked it up. I want this gasoline charge reversed. I have a receipt for the gas. Even if you say I didn't fill it up, I traveled 25 miles. How many miles per gallon does the truck get? It doesn't add up. The guy said just leave the keys. I trusted him. But he scammed me.

Trying to figure out where to pull in/park was difficult and checking in/checking out felt incredibly awkward. There wasn't even anyone there to check us out, so one of the gentlemen working for the car dealership just told us to leave our stuff on the desk... It felt shady and I'm afraid of being ripped off because I wasn't able to properly checkout to determine the final cost.

i dropped off the truck with the correct gas and was charged $7.88 for gas. why in the world would i put gas in it and then not put in enough? now i'm jumping thru hoops to get my money back...i feel ripped off

Employee overcharged for moving pads. Its the principle and the customer service. Also, a bit hard to find the office as there is no obvious U-Haul signage. This office is on a car renal / sales lot.

The agent arrived at the location over 30 minutes late. Another customer and I were waiting outside in the wind and cold for someone to come and open the location. This is frustrating when you are paying people by the hour to help move. The same agent handled the drop off and was over an hour late. Even though the agent confirmed my drop off time and date (the day of pick up) he neglected to tell me that they did not open until 10 am the drop off day and no one would be at the property to handle the drop off. When the agent arrived he walked in with his breakfast, sat down, proceeded to eat and look at his phone. When I had let him know I was there to drop off a trailer, he advised me that I could just unhitch the trailer and leave because he would process everything later. The agent could see that I was alone and offered no help. After trying to lift the cargo trailer off the trailer hitch myself, I had to wait for the agent to finish looking at his phone and disappear into the back. This was such an awful experience and some of the worse customer service I have ever encountered. Whether it is an official UHaul rental facility or not, agents should be on time (especially when a customer hires hourly help) and at least offer to help with the trailer hitches. One would think that they would want to make certain all surrounding vehicles and rentals are not damaged in the process of moving things from the lot.
