Great location to rent a U-Haul.

One little bit of advice here, although this is the third time I have used U-Haul in ten years and remain a loyal customer: I called this location a day before I began my trip to let them know I was coming for drop off and did not receive a callback. I then called about two hours out to give them fair warning. Still no response. But I called the departure U-Haul location and Sam called HQ to get a hold of them. Sam pulled through from 700 miles away. Being unfamiliar with the area, it would have been helpful to get solid confirmation that this was the correct location because there were three drop off locations within a 20 mile radius. Everything worked out fine, but here is my tip: assure your customers that dropping off equipment is acceptable, even if there's no staff on the premises. This policy is IMPLIED, I know that now. But movers have a lot of information clanging around in their heads and should be spared this extra stressor. Overall you guys rock. Thank you.

why do you not have diesel engines in your bigger vehicles. The gas motors are gutless and drink fuel really bad.

I was charged for two days because we were 53 minutes late. That is unacceptable.

there was a discrepancy with the fuel, so we called back to discuss it. The female employee was extremely rude. Basically told us we were lying, asked if we took a picture of the fuel level before we left and asked what proof we had to prove it. When we initially picked up the truck we stated it was half full, not the 1/8 of a tank over which it stated on the paperwork. We filled it to just over half and then she stated that it was actually under a half tank when we dropped it off and we would have to pay for missing fuel. After trying to explain that was not accurate she proceed to be extremely rude again and asked what proof we had. She stated she would refund the $20 charge, but it was not over half a tank and continued to have a poor attitude. And I never received a statement that the $20 was reimbursed. I want to make it clear that the male employee we had when we picked it up was friendly, but because of the experience with the female employee I will not recommend using this establishment ever again. I will take my business else where because of her very poor customer service skills. I've never been treated so disrespectfully.
