You should warn people when the pickup location has no parking I had to park about a quarter mile away and walk to get to my U-Haul. Also your app check-in and the two step verification process took the first 45 mins of my rental time. Honestly, what good did it do to let me choose a person at random to have you call and verify my identity? Seems like anyone could just say “yes”. It didn’t prove anything. Very unhappy with my experience.

There should be a person assigned just to the counter. The counter guy kept leaving to go outside to make sure the trucks were equipped and I had to continue to stand waiting at the counter for over 20 minutes while he stayed outside. That is my only complaint. Assign one person to handle the line of customers and one to assure that the truck is equipped outside.

The location is very old and run down but the staff of two seem to have been there for many years and it's not like we were spending the night -- only dropping off a truck. The location had sunday hours which is a plus.

Terrible customer service at the pick up location. Gas was not on a half tank when it www supposed to be. Customer rep argued with me about it and refused to let me return it on 1/4 tank (which is what it was on when we got it. She also declined to inform me about the additional charges for going outside the “mileage cap! I was charged for that as well. Terrible service. Would not reccomend

The man that owns and runs this place is rude. Doesn't want to answer questions. Told me and other customers we better have the money. And told me a Tuesday at 11 til Thursday at 11 rental was 3 days. Even though I checked out at 11 I had to be back at 10 or was told he would charge me another day. I didn't use his dolly but he said I did then said he could charge me but he would be nice and not charge for the dolly. Then when I returned the truck at 10 instead of 11 and asked questions about my bill I was told don't worry about it he would just charge me. And to top it off he charged me $100 over at pickup then thirty minutes later charged another $92.00 still unsure what that was for. Then the difference I was supposed to be credited back for was also a second charge at drop off. So I rented a $39.99 per day truck for 2 days, drove 70 miles at $.79 cents per mile and was charged $280.00. Not a math wizard but this doesn't ad up. Oh yeah insurance, I was told $28 then told $42 then told that he could charge me what he wanted. Said the truck was checked over but the back was dirty. Also told another customer ahead of me that wanted to drop off in Matthews that he had to bring the truck back to him because it was his truck. I am 46 and been on my own since 18 and always rented a home so I have moved alot and used many uhauls. No more! I would rather move my house in a shopping cart then rent another u haul. My business also rents car haulers, tow dollies, and trucks on a regular basis. Not anymore. Uhaul customer service told me they can figure most things out but they couldn't figure out my bill and charges. Their exact words were I don't know what's going on here. So I'm done with uhaul an whatever you do don't go here.

Owner was very rude, told me that my “odor” was causing his asthma to act up. He requested I back away from the counter. I was appalled to say the least. Will never return to this location. The facility was very poorly maintained. I expect better customer service. Will explorer other options next time I need a rental truck.

I think there was a mix up with our truck. We got the right size but I rented the truck for 24 hours. We picked the truck up 6/30 @844am and returned it after 7pm that same day (so less time then what we asked for). When I went to return the truck to use the uhaul app it said my truck had already been returned at 1:17pm that day!! We also discovered that the mileage that was written in our pamphlet was more than what was on the dash of the truck??! We put the keys in the drop box and made sure the right amount of gas was put back in. So yesterday morning I called at 1002 (they open at 10a) to explain the situation so there was no confusion or extra charges on my end. Spoke with someone who it was hard to communicate with due to accent. He said he would look into it and send me an email before they closed before 3pm that day if everything was ok. Check my email and around 2:30ish no email. So I called and spoke with someone and they said they would look into it and call me back...no call and at this time it is 3:16p. So basically no one followed up with us to make sure we were good on our end seeing as how we did everything that was asked of us as customers. Someone on their end made an error of some sort and its not fair if in a day, week or month then someone wants to try and say that we didn't do something right! Someone needs to f/u with me if just to say that the situation was resolved! I have screen shots of everything if they need to be forwarded! thanks!

There was a service light on in the truck I was renting. It didn't interfere with my move, but it was slightly disconcerting. Grateful there's a moving truck place so close to my house in North Charlotte!

The owner's customer service is terrible. He is not helpful or patient with customers at all. The billing process was very confusing. When I called to get help with understanding the billing, the owner did not have time to talk to me and only told me to go online to see my bill. I was billed for one 2 day rental over a period of three times. The first payment was taken when the truck was returned and the next payment was 10 days after the first payment and now I'm waiting on the final payment to take place. I do not recommend this location at all.

My initial reservation was for 6/9-6/11, which included the truck, dolly and blankets. When picking up the vehicle the rep was very helpful and courteous, she confirmed if I returned the truck by 11:30am on 6/10 then I would only be charged for 1 day use. I returned the truck at 11am on 6/10; a different rep was working but also confirmed I would only be charged the pro-rated amount for 1 day of use and would receive an email of the invoice (he was helping another customer at the moment). I later received an invoice for the full 2 day amount - I've attempted emailing and contacting the place to resolve. I have not received a response to the inquiry I email (sent on 6/12), or the phone call I placed on 6/13 (2pm) - the rep that answered my call took down my information and advised they would call me back. The original rep who was working on 6/9 was extremely pleasant and helpful, unfortunately my experience with Uhaul after that has been extremely disappointing. The truck I was given had recently had new wood planks installed on the interior of the box, as a result there was saw dust all throughout which I then had to clean off my furniture.

I'm allergic too animal hair dogs cats extremely the all truck was cover of dog hair they didn't clean it at all. My throat start swelling I when to the hospital I got a shot. I returned the truck trying to explain him what happened he's respond was I should check the truck before. We are going to court because I'm going to get a lawyer
