24 hour returns are very confusing and there is NO marked box to drop keys after hours, only an unmarked black mailbox with a small locked area at the bottom for keys

The location is okay... the issue is the mobile pick up. It needs to be better. It took me 45 minutes to pick up my uhaul due to how slow the process was and lack of data connection.

Great clean facility, very nice staff, quick check in and check out. Overall very pleased with this location. However with the rates charged just renting a small cargo van was over $100. Too expensive

Walking into this location, I was instantly impressed by the cleanliness, the fresh smell, and the neatly organized store. Within 15 minutes of realizing I needed to get a van to move stuff, I made it there, checked in, and was on my way with a van. The return was quck and simple. I think the friendliness of the staff towards me and each other was genuine and I truly believe it was best experience I have ever had with U-Haul. Happy New Year! Thanks, y’all!

The combination lock was rusty; therefore, I was unable to take possession of the truck. I always have problems at this location and will never come back here again.

You waited until 6 minutes before my reservation, after I had arrived at the Statesville rd location to text me the truck was a available at the Tryon location. After numerous attempts to check in Using the uhaul ap, i called customer service. You had a person on the phone reserve another truck for me at the location on Statesville only to go inside and find out that truck also was not available. While two of your employees talked to each again I waited on help. One hour after I arrived to pick my truck up, I finally got a truck with scrubbing wheels that smelled like cigarette smoke. I will never use uhaul again. I should be refunded for the foolishness I put up with from your company and service people. How do you wait until 6 minutes before my reservation to let me know the truck isn’t available??? One of the worst experiences in my life. Never ever again!

So two girls are running that place on a Saturday and taking care of all the things going on there's definitely no worry about how long something takes if you had the amount of clientele to pay for the amount of employees needed it'd be a perfect world I'm glad my situation worked and I was able to use a trailer for a day but the service is not anything at all to be even average or good

Drop off location need a jack or something for single women hauling large trailers. If it wasn't for me being strong and my sister, we wouldn't have been able to get it off the truck to drop it off on time.

Explain how to return after hours. I tried to turn the van in early, but after hours, but I couldn't find the drop slot. And I think 19.95 is a great price, BUT you tack on enough other fees to make the rental not so economical. What is an environmental fee and why am I OBLIGATED to pay it? And I'd like SOME miles included in the 19.95 price. A three day rental whose allure was @60.00, turned into @150.00 BECAUSE I went a few exits a few times. BUT I will rent again because I need the service. And yes, the workers I encountered were friendly.

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle no one was at the front desk but I could hear voices coming from an office (and the door was not fully closed). After yelling out "hello" several times and waiting for about 5 minutes I finally had to go to the cracked door, knock and open it a bit to let the staff know that I was there and needed assistance. The vehicle that I was provided had the "oil change required" light on but I was not given a heads up. I had to go back inside to inquire if the vehicle was okay to drive. A few hours after picking up the vehicle I experience sheets of ice sliding off of the top of the van and down on the windshield prohibiting me from being able to see. Luckily, it happened when I approached a stop sign and not while I was driving on the highway. For the next two miles, every time I stopped more ice slid down the windshield. This is why I mark this vehicle as not being clean. When I notified the attendant of my experience when I returned the van, his response was that they are only responsible for cleaning off the windshield and the mirror and that there were only two employees on staff and they have a lot of trucks to tend to. Only when I asked the question of what happens when someone gets into an accident because of this negligence did he begin to take me seriously. While this is not the location that I normally rent from I do expect to receive the same service no matter which location I rent from. I was extremely disappointed.
