The reason I put above average is because there was no one there and I had to search for the vehicle maybe have a tracker on a app or the website to find exactly where the vehicle is. The vehicle was well kept. Two thumbs up. The reason why I said not applicable was I thought the other Uhaul place was just down the road from another one. It was less than 2 minutes away and I thought there was only one uhaul place. Having a phone number to reach someone I felt disconnect on the costumer service part but when I did call the person I spoke was very amazing on the costumer service part. He should get a raise. He was awesome overall it was a great rent and I will rent again. Thank you for a good experience. Two thumbs up.

Make sure someone is always available to assist you when you arrive. We were given a time for pickup but just before arriving we got a phone call that the attendant was stuck in traffic because he had to go uptown for something and we had to wait about 45 to 50 minutes.

location was good. Solid independent dealer but U-Haul it horrible. Every single time I book a reservation U-Haul reassigns the pick up or drop off location...sometimes rerouting me 15 miles away which is a big deal in a heavy traffic city like Charlotte. If an alternate option existed I would use them other than U-Haul. Hopefully one day Walmart will get into the rental business.

Disclose all penealties for late turn in. $40 a day for truck was discussed but nothing for dollys, carts, and blankets. Very disappointed!!

The owner at the uhaul service threatened my wife and I to charge us $200 even though he closed the contract before we were fully checked out - he then continued to harass via telephone and curse at us. I will be following up with more complaints to u-haul corporate.

It was okay I was charged for mileage fee of $17.41 that I didn't know anything about.. I thought it was unlimited miles.. but guess not but they could have wavier-ed that because there was more gas in it that required at return. But if I do us you all again Hopefully I won't have to I will make sure of everything the next time.

Focus and to be knowledgeable, remember the 1st impression may be the only chance you get to have them as either repeat business or recommending your service to someone else. I would rather pay extra to get a better customer service experience. Please note: Air pressure gauge/indicator came on and so I had to stop multiple times even though ea. time I checked the pressure matched what was on the side of the vehicle. I also called CS and they asked what the problem was and once I explained, they asked if everything was working ok and I should go to a U-haul dealer to have it checked. I responded OK but instead of asking where I was and offering to advise the nearest U-haul but instead I got silence. So I made the decision to keep going and kept stopping to make sure the tire pressure was ok.

When I went to drop off I looked at my reservation and it's all that the drop off location was changed from where I initially had put it and additional days had been added to my reservation. So I had to call on the phone and find the closest location. The closest location had no availability to drop off. They were full to capacity. So they gave us another location. After having driven around looking for the farther location for 20 min... we finally found out there was no drop off at that location and that it was for admin purposes only and they gave us another location even farther. So the gas I used extrat was NOT my fault. I should NOT be charged for it. Furthermore, I was made to go 8bextra miles for pick up due to the fact our local office didn't have the truck we RESERVED a week earlier. They said they're would be no extra gas or mileage charge for that either. I am super disappointed and plan to let everyone that asks me NOT to use uhaul. Who approves a reservation and the calls the night before telling you they WONT have it??!!
