I was charged $5 for furniture pads that I did not need or request. I would like to have that charge refunded. Other than that, everything went quick and smooth.

Over all after having to go to two different locations to get a truck that I Reserve and couldn’t get what I reserved even with the discounts that was given I don’t understand why when I’ve rented in the past and paid cash I had to pay for over miles twice in my opinion u-haul needs a better system or watch who they have as Authorized dealers

The first time I used this location it was excellent. The guy who helped me out was on time and terrific. This time however, the woman who was supposed to open the store was late and totally unprepared to check people in. I literally had to sign myself through the computer system because she couldn't figure it out. When I returned to give the truck back, there was nobody there in the office for about 20 minutes.

A good experience. Drop off wasn't a problem, but I didn't register online beforehand (it was an after-hours drop-off), so that took a little while longer than anticipated. Still, a great solution.

no signage on the street. the location was VERY hard to find. They need a nother person working the desk. The (very nice) young lady working the desk was showing a couple storage units so I waited 15 minutes for her to get back

Tow dolly was fully functional and did the job. But, it was damaged in multiple places. The two most notable was the fender which was bent and made contact with the tire and also the tail light that was duct taped in place. The mobile check in/return seemed a great idea until we were roughly 5 miles away when it asked for my location and a photo of the dolly. It would be beneficial to put disclaimers earlier in the check in process to avoid that issue. I started the mobile check in while at the location but had to set up and account etc... which caused a delay and forced a turn around to take a photo. All in all, not a bad experience at all. Just a little room for improvements.

White one employee was going out to look at the truck with my brother, I couldn't find the keys to my car. I was frantically emptying my purse to search through it. The other employee, a female, 100% completely ignored the commotion going on right in front of her. She never even looked up. Not that she could have done anything, but it was plainly rude of her.

We reserved 24 blankets on April 15, 2017 for our 5/31 move, but they only had 6 waiting for us. We tried to pick up the 6 blankets on 5/28, and they could not figure out how to give us only 6 of the 24 blankets, even with the U-Haul Help Desk. They promised to try and get the additional blankets by 5/31, but did not come through. Then on 5/31, since they didn't have the missing blankets, they sent us to another location, but that site wouldn't give us the blankets since we didn't rent the truck from them. We therefore incurred approximately $100 damage on furniture, which we request reimbursement for. We purchased 4 wardrobe boxes on 4/23/17, and were told there would be no problem returning them if we didn't use them for our 5/31 move. However, when we tried to return 3 of them on 6/10, as we didn't use them, we were told they were past the 30 day return policy, and couldn't return them. We are owed a credit of $51.33 for the 3 boxes we didn't use. LifeStorage employees constantly gave excuses that they weren't U-Haul and they were new representatives, so didn't know how to do things. We therefore feel, as customers, that Life Storage employees are incompetent and wasted our time. In summary we do not recommend this location and request a refund of $151.33.

The scheduling service is very hit or miss. Sometimes I was talking to a very helpful person and other times I would speak to someone who was very unhelpful.

Pick up and drop off was pretty easy at this location, once I located the office. Description of the location on the UHaul web site could be enhanced to indicate (1) location is up a private road just past the sign with the street number on it and (2) office is in Suite D, which is all the way up the private road. Staff (Will) was professional and pleasant to deal with. Ten-foot truck, which had about 99,000 miles on it, ran fine overall, and air conditioner worked well. Transmission sounded like it was running without much lubrication, and truck rattled quite a bit while driving, even more than is typical for a rental truck. Truck cab smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which is typical with rentals, in my experience.
