If a truck is rented out and the store or company will not be open to verify mileage ,gas etc you should allow them to drop off at a store that is. Without extra charges. Will not be a customer again with any uhaul company. Will also discourage anyone I know who needs to rent a truck

I have several concerns about my recent U-Haul experience. First, I signed up online and including Mover Helpers in the contract. They neither called me or showed up. I had planned to use them Saturday, until the job was done. I did get a call Sunday evening from the owner of AA movers apologizing for not responding. However, it also meant that I then had to move everything by myself. Not having the two moving helpers, meant it took me three times as long to move the stuff. I called the U-Haul place I rented from (Xtreme Tire) and asked if I could keep the truck an extra day. They told me it was no problem and that I would automatically be charged for a second day. When I returned the truck at 4 pm on Sunday, I was told I was being charged not for one day, not for two days, but for three days, because I hadn't returned the truck within the six hours of the time I rented it. This seems to me to be both unethical and possibly illegal and I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint if this is not resolved. The truck was advertised at $29.95 a day, not $29.95 for six hours. Furthermore, had the moving help that I paid for, shown up, I would've been done the first day. Finally, one of Xtreme Tire's customers attempted to charge me for 7,000 miles, all because he couldn't read the digital display. Despite my telling him that I drove well under a hundred miles and probably closer to 50, he was going to make me pay for it, until the manager walked in and made him check the mileage again. Also, the truck bed was littered with trash from the previous renter(s). I swept it out before I returned it.

Rented a truck on 8/19/17 from Xtreme Tire LLC 4599 Paddock Rd Cincinnati, OH 45229. Employees at pick up and upon return were incredibly rude. When I picked the truck up the employee didn't come to the window when I entered the "Customer waiting/service area" of the shop which was cluttered with trash and miscellaneous tires and other shop items. Employee simply said "help you" without even looking my direction. When I said I was there for a uhaul the look of disdain made me incredibly uncomfortable. I nearly cancelled the reservation right then. In hindsight I wish I had. Truck smelled strongly of cigarettes. Rear tire pressure was low. Truck was damaged on rear passenger side of box. Registered my rental as having driven more than 10 miles further than the route I had mapped - my fault for not confirming odometer before leaving. My impression was they take these trucks around the block and pad each rental 10 miles from the unsuspecting customer. Employee at pick up and upon return were incredibly rude. When I returned the truck and said I didn't drive as far as they stated the employee argued with me. I didn't feel it was worth the argument so I told him it was fine. He then got verbally aggressive - "If you have a f****** problem then take it up with uhaul" and walked away without giving me a receipt or finishing up the return. Fortunately another employee checked and informed me my return was complete and I was getting a receipt via email. Would NOT recommend nor ever return for any reason. In total the experience was deplorable at best. I didn't feel good about it from the time I got there till the time I returned. If this is the type of business uhaul license to then I will be considering other truck rental companies in the future.

Transmission in the truck was bad. Truck reaked with the smell of the transmission. Truck was on empty. There was no one to call when I experienced a delay and had to have the truck over night.

You shouldn't use this location anymore. They over charged me and didn't allow me to keep the truck for the agreed upon time. The truck had trash in it when we got it and the low tire pressure light was on. Place is very dirty and people rude.

I had been to this location once before and had an EXCELLENT experience. However, this past time I did not. I reserved the truck ahead of time and was locked in for a 15' truck for $19.95. When I arrived at this location, I was told the website was wrong and I would actually have to pay $29.95. When I tried to compromise and ask for the lower 10' truck instead, this truck wasn't available. I don't find this to be fair since I was locked in at a certain price and told the day of it was going to be otherwise. Additionally, the truck was falling apart. The rubber door rim was falling onto me while I was driving and the ride was bumpy the whole time, including squealing breaks that I did not trust were going to stop. I really like this location and the people working there, so I was disappointed that this experience was incredibly worse than the one I had before which only took place about 2 months ago. I hope in the future that this location can confirm pricing ahead of time and maintain their equipment in a more suitable manner.

The customer service was lacking. It was hard to hear the staff due to a fan running in the waiting room, which was full of tires. Communication was short and to the point. When I was leaving, the gentleman just pointed to the truck that I would be using. I did my own walk around check. Upon check in, I was just asked to leave the keys. He didn't do a check of the vehicle with me.

They were very rude at that place his employers talking to him while he's talking to me the managers screaming back and forth through the building I would never go there again and maybe never rent from U-Haul again also the manager eating while he's talking to me with food all in his mouth it was a very Harbor experience gave me the wrong time to return my U-Haul when I asked if I can keep it logging and what I initially said he said yes and did not confirm the right time with me to bring it back the time they close and did not update my paperwork so that I can return it back at a later time I'm very upset and mad

The service was fine - no complaints about the truck (which was clean and maintained) or the service -- but the facility itself was filthy. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot after leaving the location.

Workers were friendly and helpful after I asked them to mov their personal trucks they were smoking marijuana in so I could park when I arrived. This location has zero space to load up a trailer. Avoid at all costs. Also, cleanliness and housekeeping overall is a -1000 points! Tires tools and trash everywhere. OSHA could shut this place down easily!

Locations agent was rude and unprofessional. Three agent did not what to do the post walk vehicle inspection and mileage check. I felt rushed and unertain about the whole situation before leaving U-Haul site. My card was charged before I returned the vehicle and it clearly states that the the card would not be charged until the vehicle was returned. I am owed money because I used less miles than estimated.

I discussed my reservation on the phone with Tom on 3/10/17. Where I would pick up my rental which was to be down the street from my job. When I arrived on 3/11/17 to Jen's Furniture store I was told that my pick up for rental was on Paddock Rd. If the size truck I needed was not at that location I should have received a phone call indicating that location had changed. I then asked Tom if u haul had a service where I could drop the truck back without coming all the way back downtown from Middletown he said yes. So Verity Parkway which was in my zip code area would be the closet. It was not even put into the computer system. Being that this was my second time renting a truck in a two week period. Tom should have told me that it was an additional cost to do this. I love building relationships with business because you feel that you are cared about. But this second go round for me was frustrating. I can say that the young lady who assisted me at Xtreme Tire LLC made me feel important and helped me. Before I hung up the phone with Tom I doubled checked twice to make sure information was correct and hung up. I would consider doing more business with your company but please in the future when situations arise please let your customers know a head of time. Saves a lot of time and anger. The only problem I had is the gas meter is tricky. When you put in the gas when you are finished, start the engine put the truck in gear, then you will get a true reading. I sent over $15.00 because the meter never moved. I did not wAnt them to charge me.
