Rude people that had the wrong drop off location. Threatened me that I will be charged a fee. And said I would go to court. Uhauls mistake not mine. Rude. Will never use again!

This gentleman was very polite and thorough. He had marked every single scratch on van so we would not be liable for it. He even let us walk around van with him. He was very quick at checking us in. He explained thoroughly how to return to ensure not being charged extra.

This rental and location were what I would expect. But this rental was a result of a complete failure of your reservation system. I ordered a 20' moving van (reservation #24403727) for sat. 9-12-15 and received a confirmation "reserved and guaranteed". I arrived at 8:04 the clerk had another customer and at 8:20 I asked him if I could check the truck because I had to meet people at 8:30 to load the truck.He then informed me that the 15' truck was in the yard. I showed him my confirmation and was told that his paperwork showed a 15' truck was reserved. Because of this I ran 2 hours late. Had to pay 2 hours extra time to the help. What good is a reserved and guaranteed truck if it's not available?

Dan the 3rd was very good and I highly recommend him.



It was convenient but other than that not much else I can say good about it. The "Uhaul people" were not even there when I dropped it off so I had to hope final cash out was in line with my expectations (it was) but there was no recourse if it was not.



A more thorough explanation of instruction for driving and maintaining the truck may be helpful.



Communicate all changes with customer, insure that all trucks have the exact gas amount in them before billing customer for that amount. Discontinue or explain hidden fees and credit card charges!



If the pick location is changed, maybe a representative should give the customer a call.

Representative did not thoroughly inspect vehicle before leaving rental facility and vehicle was returned with a screw in tire that could have been there before. We also elected to have the safe move insurance which the rep said covered any damage incurred during our move. When returning the vehicle, we noted the screw in the tire and the rep said ok and that was it. There was never mention of a damage claim or excessive charges or that the safe move insurance didn't cover it!!!!!!

I was happy with Dan's Auto Repair and the truck. I was not pleased with the online U-Haul reservation system or the first person I spoke to when I called U-Haul. On Saturday morning I went online and was able to reserve a truck for Monday (Memorial Day). I received a confirmation email. When we arrived at the repair shop, it was closed and no one was there. When I called U-Haul, the person confirmed Dan's was closed and said that's the trouble with reserving trucks online. She said someone would call me within an hour to tell me if I could pick up a truck elsewhere. I understand it was over a holiday weekend, but the online system should not allow me as a customer to reserve a truck if a shop is closed or if there's not enough time for the shop to know a reservation has been made. When you're ready to move and have friends ready to help, waiting an hour after you're supposed to pick up the truck for a phone call is less than ideal. When I asked if I could speed up the process, the rep gave me a separate U-Haul number to call. I'm not sure why they couldn't connect me directly. After that, my experience improved. The second rep got in touch with Dan's Auto Repair and someone came to let us in and get us on the road. It was over an hour after our pick-up time, but they were both friendly and it all worked out.
