The original drop-off location was a parking lot at a boost Mobile store. I went through the 20 self return process but the web app only to find out after I checked the truck in that the location lacked a drop box. The boost Mobile employee explained that their sure was under new management and they no longer participated in the mail drop off program. We had to call the uhaul pickup location and get directed to another drop off point. This took over an hour to resolve.

The person at the store did not know how to do the paperwork for renting the truck. She had to call her boss and get instructions over the phone. The fuel amount on the paperwork was not correct. The paperwork showed 1/4 tank, the truck gauge showed 3/16. I figured the person in the store would not be able to fix it and really needed to get on with my move so just took the truck and wrote it off for doing business with a location that was not a stand alone U-Haul location. I will never use this type of location again and will advise my friends not to use this type of location.

The location is in a parking lot behind some other businesses. Kinda hard to spot and not clean. It was easy to get in and out and the guy who called me to help with the drop off was great. He sent me a photo and everything to help.

There is no U-Haul sign indicating that the pick up site is actually a U-Haul location. You cannot even see the trucks from the street. The parking in front of the pick up location is dangerous and requires extreme caution when backing out directly into a major busy street. The attendant was not in the store, and we had to wait 45 minutes to be served. This put us significantly behind schedule for other plans for the day. Unless you put up a sign, change the parking lot, and get a 2nd attendant, nothing will be better for the next customer.

I knew where the address was but I was looking for a Mobile gas station. I never heard of Boost Mobile cell phone company. I asked the gentleman I knew where the intersection was and mentioned "Mobile" and he didn't elaborate on the type of business and that it was in a strip mall. Maybe better communication is needed.

The key was not in the designated lockbox. I could not rent the truck that I'd reserved.
