Have boxes, blankets and moving supplys, replace wipers blades. And steering alignment was off in the truck. Loading ramp would get stuck, you could not get it in or out some of the time. The attendant forgot to put hand truck in the truck so I did not have one to use.

As far as the rental place it was great. I tried to check the uhaul back in last night and I could not find on the dashboard check my truck in. I got on the online chat with CSR and he was telling how to do it but it would not work either. I tried putting my contract number in and everything still wouldn't work. I gave him the information and he tried and he said there has been a problem with the system all day to go download the mobile app so I did that and same thing couldn't check it in. I sure hope I do not get charged extra because of the system not working right and not being able to check it in. Not a happy customer at this time.

The person who runs this business never returned my calls, he said on the telephone message to leave my number but his voice mailbox was not set/up so I could not leave a message. Very frustrating I had to leave the equipment in the yard where the rest of the u/haul items were. I called the 1-800 number to inform them of this situation and that I had to leave the item in the yard. That operator reassured me she would follow up with that business. I hope this review is helpful because I would not want anyone to be frustrated trying to return an item without any contact from this business in Cleveland Texas !

I would like to get in a truck and not have fast food bags and mud everywhere also I was quoted .75 cents a mile when I was on phone and then was told it was .99 cents a mile when I got there

I returned the vehicle at 8:40 am. They waited until 3:19 pm to check it in. This caused me to be charged for an extra day! When I tried to contact their location using the number on my receipt it was disconnected! When I used the number in google search it was disconnected as well! Horrible!



The gentleman that got us set up is great. He explained everything to us and was very helpful and polite. I would recommend this U Haul.

The U-Haul online reservation service will reserve a truck that the location does not have. Then they call for confirmation on the reservation days later and tell you they don't have the truck you reserved. All the locations are connected by internet with equipment availability on site. No reservation should be accepted unless equipment is available. In my case the trucks that are reserved was not there I had to get a smaller truck. Which cost me in extra mileage and extra trips to complete the move. This area needs yard maintenance. Huge mud puddles and bogs in the area that you cannot go around you have to go through to get in and out of the property. The attendant was friendly but the yard needs help.

I returned the truck with more fuel than it had when I picked it up and U Haul charged my card for fuel after I left. If I ever move again, I will not use U Haul this company was dishonest from start to finish

After having such a crappy experience with the other 6 locations I called to drop off the tow dolly, it was a nice experience to have this location actually be helpful. I do not recommend any of the other locations in Cleveland, Shepherd, Liberty, or Conroe, Texas.

The enclosed trailer leaked ALOT! We rented it specifically to keep our things dry. It did not. The trailer lights had a short and we had to work with them to get them to work. We haul a boat almost weekly so we know it was not our connection. I would have ask for a refund but I will just get it in writing next time that it will keep our stuff dry.



Had to clean mud, animal hair, garbage and cigarette ashes out of truck before I could load my stuff in it. And when picked up was told I have to clean it when I get it or I will get charged. But yet had to clean someone else's garbage out and cleaning someone else's cigarette ashes is absolutely disgusting since I am not a smoker.

It’s a mud hole!!!!!



Was told to take the trailer back to this location and that I could self check it in. When I got to the location it was closed, but I had no way of self checking the trailer in. I called the number and received a recording that said that the mailbox had not been set up, so I couldn't even leave a message. I tried texting and still have not received a response. My paperwork said that I had to turn the trailer by Monday at 9, I had to leave it on their lot on Sunday, however this location is NOT open on Monday, so the trailer was left unchecked in for close to 48 hrs. Anyone could have hooked up to the trailer and taken it, and I would have been left holding the bag. So If I have a choice I will never do business with this location. If the location cares about its customers, then 1) FIX the MUD HOLE!!!!! 2) Have a way for your customer to self check in their equipment so they are NOT holding the bag when you don't care to come in to work. 3) Train the nice lady that was sitting at your office in all things, and give her access to the Internet so she can check your equipment in. 4) CALL and or TEXT people back when they TEXT or Leave a message for you (this is really basic customer service) 5) SET UP your Voicemail so that people can leave a message.
