I would recommend this location because the person working was kind and helped us to problem solve an error that UHaul customer service made. If it wasn't for her, we would not have had a truck that day despite our rental changing to her location due to UHaul saying my original location did not have the truck size available. Moving is stressful and UHaul made it even more stressful. This office helped to make it better and I greatly appreciate her flexibility and kindness.

I have no issues with this location. I have issues with how our reservation was handled. We were originally scheduled to pick up at another location. When we arrived we were told the truck was not there and we would need to drive to the location listed above, which was 30 minutes from the original location. The boxes we paid for in advance were at neither of these locations, but at an official uhaul location, which was 45 minutes from the Clifton Heights location. Needless to say, we were not pleased with our uhaul experience and we have no intentions to use or recommend the use of uhaul again. These issues were not directly associated with the two locations, but with the uhaul company.
I would recommend it because the customer service was great. The van we rented smelled HORRIBLE!!! We drove with the windows down in the rain and me and my sister in-law still got terrible headaches. It smelled like gasoline and body odor ðŸ¤¢ maybe get new vans or a better cleaning service.
I booked rental two days ago for self pick up @ 9. The van was not ready and I had to wait until 9:30 for store to open. The van was filthy and smelled like gasoline. Horrible experience
The Van I rented smelled like farm animals. Like someone was literally transporting farm animals in it. This Van would have been perfect for me if I owned a mini horse or a goat.
Holy crap. A hold on my card and then several consecutive charge attempts? No heads up? Employees lead me to believe the initial hold was the charge and that would be the end of it. They never answer the phone by the way. -1/10
Although the ladies were VERY nice when I called and said that I was running late. I felt as if I was given 2 different things. 1. When I reserved the van and 2. When I picked the van up. I was given a contract but told that I had to pay with a Major Credit card Although I was told that I could use my debit card as long as it had a Visa or Mastercard logo. I asked for a receipt when I returned the truck 45 minutes early and was told that it would be emailed to me. As I was leaving I asked if she had my email address because no one ever asked me. I still have not gotten a receipt. It was especially important because before I left they said if I didn't go over the calculatiled miles, I might get a little back. Also no one asked to see my additional driver's Information. He had his driver's license out ready to show it. I will Probably Never use this site again.
The woman at the location was very short in her responses to any questions I had, which made it a little frustrating. I know we're going through some hard times right now, but courtesy is still possible.
Customer service was below average. As someone who works in customer service I expect a little bit more from my experiences. Especially when me the customer was running into an issue with the company. The Representative was very aloof and not welcoming. The app wasn't very efficient and seemed to have been frozen on "waiting for approval". I went into the office to speed the process up instead of waiting for technology (it had been about 10mins already) and was laughed at for not choosing insurance (which i didnt need and was willing to take the risk) instead of having the benefits explained to me. Maybe he was have a rough day, but that was just my experience.

Furniture pads were not provided and no notice was given to me that they weren't available.
I was over charged and was hung up on claiming i didnt return the van on time and the key. I had to go to the office and still was accused of extra mileage, not returning the van and key. Not even trying to look into what i was telling her. I felt humiliated and treated like a liar. Clearly there was some type of error on uhauls part. No apologies at all after the second young lady said she remembered me coming to return the van. Clearly my experience was NOT satisfactory and handled with unprofessional.
The location was difficult to find using maps app, Google maps and waze.
I opted for truck share and it took almost close to an hour for checkout. The status was at awaiting approval for a very long time

The original email I got sent me an incorrect pick-up address, so we were very confused and waiting for an hour for either someone to come in to help us or to get off of hold on the uhaul phone number.
