Make sure extra rental equipment requested is available at time of pick up.

Location was far and required more mileage than the originally chosen drop off location

Was originally supposed to pick up my rental truck from a closer location but upon calling to confirm, it was explained that they did not have a truck for me even though I received the confirmation email guaranteeing the first location. I then received another email confirmation indicating I was to pick up my truck from another, much further location. Not a huge deal. But, may be something to look into for future lessors.

I would recommend this location, IF they live on the south side of College Station, in Wellborn, or in Millican. Also, GPS to this location is totally FUBAR! Only use Google directions!

This location tried to make up for the absolute awful experience leading to this location. First, we started in Madisonville, although trucks were sitting there, the agent was out of state. So I called the 800 number to find out if Bryan Texas has a truck. The dispatcher said no trucks in Bryan but there was one in Huntsville and just needed my info and credit card to reserve it. So I gave my info and was told the location opened at 7am. I drove to Huntsville Texas waiting on an email that never came and waited for 7 am to speak to the location although they did not open until 9. I drove all over Huntsville looking for other rentals with no luck. I got a nationwide dispatcher again who, although she could pull up my account by phone number had NO trucks available in Huntsville. She also had my email misspelled. She found a truck in Bryan Texas but I had already driven to Huntsville Texas. Still I had to drive on to College Station going through road construction and detours to get to the location. Finally got a phone call from the College Station location as I wanted to verify by phone with a person located there, that there was a truck. There was but had to drive 144 miles round trip to use it. Uggggghhh. Frustrated with movers having arrived hours before I got the truck picked up with all the delays made for a very tiring day. Frustrating

Gas tank was marked as 3/8 full. Was actually slightly less than 3/8 full but definitely more than 1/4 full - maybe around 5/16 or slightly more than that. I figured they just rounded up since it was definitely more than 1/4. I returned it at around 5/16ths full. Returning location marked it as 1/4 (rounding down?) and charged me $18+. Presumably about 4 gallons to make it 3/8 full. Very frustrating process since at no time (pickup or drop off) was the tank 3/8 or 1/4 full. This could be alleviated by receiving the truck full and returning full - then no questions about minor discrepancies. I feel like I got hosed by U haul.

Even though some concessions were made, the LOCATION was very far out of the way.
