No gas in truck when I picked it up. Coffee cup under seat, something spilled in coffee holder, sticky stuff, real nasty, cigarette butts in the back of truck. Never did a walk around the vehicle either. Nice enough staff,Jo-Anne, renting trucks didn't seem like a priority.

The location has a small driveway and is a little difficult to get in and out of. The yard where you park the equipment is gravel and mud, makes it hard to stay clean when unhooking especially after a rain. The operator was nice but the building was full of cigarette smoke.

I don't know why I was charged for fuel, the truck started with a quarter tank and I returned it with a quarter tank, that is the only complaint I had.

Uhaul can certainly work on its communications with the dealers as well with the customers. Booking/reservations/scheduling should be a one step process for customers guaranteeing that the truck/products they have reserved for a specific date and location, is onsite at the location that U Haul has reserved it for and in turn telling the customer to be at that location at a specific time to pick up what they have reserved, and it not even being there. Very poor networking/communications on U Hauls behalf!

Stardust cleaning would not answer phone on numerous occasions. Then there was a mix up about the location and size of the truck I booked. And the needle on the gas tank was slightly under a 1/4 of a tank. Too many problems to want to deal with U-Haul again. It was a cheap service, so you get what you pay for I suppose.

I thought the insurance premium of $18.00 on a $20.00 trailer was a bit excessive. Annoys me that some companies sneak this in at the last minute when the Visa card is being swiped - just another money grab. Next time, no insurance, I take care of equipment I rent.

I called several times left voice mail- no call backs. Operator processes my rental 1230 Friday we me thinking it was for Saturday to Sunday with a Saturday morning pick-up. I asked if I could pick it up the night before (Friday).He said yes. I guess he processed the contract starting Friday at 1230noon. When I went to get the truck Friday night it was blocked by UHAUL trucks. We tried to get it out but it was too tight- check security cameras. I then picked the truck up Saturday morning at 830am thinking I had lots of time still as the truck was not due until Sunday as per the contract. When we were ready to leave for Wiarton after the truck was loaded I noticed it said the truck was due 1230pm on Saturday not Sunday. This means we only had the truck for 4 hours. I called your 1 888 227 2282 and he said he would look after the situation. I got ripped off it was 30.00 and I got the insurance. I went approx. 15 km and i was charged 75.00. The man that I dealt with had told me I would probably get a refund and when I took the truck back in an hour he had someone in his office and said he didn't have time to check me out to leave the keys. I said for him to call me if I had money coming back to me and he didn't call. Will never ever use uhaul again or recommend it to anyone. EVER!!

There was NO HELP. We were told take to Huron Rd. they were closed. We phoned three different UHAUL numbers and told cannot leave it there go to this other place. HE said I can't take it so you have to go to another place. This other place isn't open Mon - Fri (it was Thursday) and where we got there there was noone to accept the trailer. Trailers were dropped all over the place so I unhooked and left it in a close to a semblance of parking. Took a picture, but all this running around backed my day up for over an hour. THIS WAS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE>
