Make sure you check your paperwork BEFORE signing. It was supposed to be .79/mile and they charged me .99/mile. They agreed it was wrong but they cant fix it on site. I had to contact corporate to get it resolved.

The truck was clean, but it seemed like the transmission was shot. It made horrible noises when trying to shift into a new gear and it wasn't a manual.

The truck hadn't been washed, so the side mirrors were difficult to see out of. The latch got my hand all dirty when opening and closing. The service was excellent. The staff very friendly and very acomidating. Would recommend.

Both my husband and I gave a one way return address to the employee, which is in a city approximately 75 miles away from where we were picking up. We were moving our grandparents out of their house and up to the other location. He set our drop off location at another location in the same city even after our explanation and my husband physically showing him the address on his phone. It was clear he wasn't trained as he quoted us several different prices varying in the hundreds of dollars for a truck and trip we'd already reserved, and kept changing things without telling us and I guess eventually selected a location just a few miles from the pick up location, not close to our destination at all. Unfortunately we didn't realize it until later because we were busy moving. By the time we noticed the one way address was still in the same city, I tried calling to change the drop off location, but apparently you can only do this during business hours. Nobody identified what department they were in so when calling in the evening and in the morning I had no idea if I was talking to someone who could help me. Each time I had to retell the story I got more frustrated and it made the stressful situation of moving people out of the house they've lived in for over 50 years and now have to leave due to disease even more stressful. Please make sure employees are trained and know to ask questions so they don't make everything a headache. I'm now having to go into work late due to dealing with this. So not only was it expensive, but it's causing me to lose money after the fact.

The 1800 number that made the reservation was not accurate and when calling the 800 I got very poor service.

I was charged double what I was quoted an only went 15 miles over what I told them ! They flat out robbed me

Location was new and they couldn't make any changes to our reservation but said we could be reimbursed by the main u haul location upon returning and the changes could be made there. We also called U Haul to verify this info of getting reimbursed and they said yes. Upon returning our truck early we were told no such reimbursement was possible. We were over charged and no good customer service was provided. If this isn't resolved we will not be using U Haul again or recommending to any friends and family.

I was called 10 minutes prior to having to pick up my truck by someone to tell me I had to go 20 minutes out of my way for the truck. I was then charged for 2 days when I only used it for one as well as being charged for gas when I put gas in it before I dropped it off! I probably will not be a returning customer. Thank you for ruining my experience!

Dent in the front left portion of the trailer which caused there to be a hole reaching into the inside. Could be a good place for critters to nest. Trailer had a four day grace period for turn in. I turned it in a day earlier, why not a refund for the time not used?
