I declined insurance coverage when I made my reservation online. When I went to pick up the truck, he had included insurance coverage on the bill and said I would have to call to get it removed. The bill should match the reservation.

The person who is responsible for it there cheated me with the insurance fee. He did not even ask me and he just include this fee. I argued with him but he refused me to get rid of it. I just felt terrible about this experience. I do not even like to rent any uhaul there in the future.

When we opened the back of the truck we found broken glass. Swept it out & continued on. Opened the rear door again & another piece of glass landed on my son's head & another was embedded in the rubber stripping on the bottom of the door almost falling in his eye. Reported it upon return & the guy asked who put it there like we would know. Check engine light was also on. No apology, no compensation. jyst said he'd email the receipt. Nice customer service, huh.

Truck's left window rattles a lot and right rear-view mirror doesn't angle correctly. The guy of the store was extremely unpleasant with poor communication.

The contract required filling the tank to 7/8 full. I wasn't sure it was that full to start with, should have checked before leaving. I bought $7 of gas, more than 3 gallons, even though I drove only 21 miles. I had to extend the rental for one day, and sent an email using the link from the contract email I received. I got no response and had to call.

We dropped off after hours and I had my children with me and I did not feel safe in this location. I proceeded to check out online which requires making a login which I didn't think was necessary since it's not going to be used again and having to take multiple pictures to submit. This was the only location it showed available in Columbus to drop off when I booked the Uhaul. I do not recommend this location because I did not feel like it was safe. Especially with the lengthy checkout process and having to worry if homeless people will come over to the kids and I while trying to get out of there.

Service from the man at the desk was good but we did not receive the utility dolly that I rented and was still charged for it. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

The truck had breaks that were ear piercing. Not to mention the guy in the store didn't come out to explain anything and then told me I couldn't park my car on his store property. I was LIVID. Where am I suppose to park my car when I'm driving a uhual temporarily? He was rude and took almost 15 minutes to get my information even after I had already "pre checked" myself in through online. He then said he would check the truck out after I left even though I could tell her had nothing to do and it was extreamly shady. I couldn't believe uhaul would let this run down store represent their company and I will NEVER use this site again.

When I returned the truck the man just took the keys and told me I would get my bill later via email. I would have preferred that he check the mileage and present me with a final bill at that time. There was no one else in the store at the time so he was free to complete it so I don't know why.

I was double-charged for 3 different charges on my bill, including the rental fee, the dolly rental fee, and the insurance fee. Twice I tried to contact the email address that was posted in the email that I should contact "if I had any questions." I did not receive a response. I need a refund, and it's been very frustrating to not get a response.
