I can't believe there is any room for improvement. I was treated with "better" improvement then I though was possible, compared to issues from other rentals. Culver Automotive is farther away from my home from other rentals, but I'm sticking with Culver Automotive.

I feel like this guy at the auto shop is a scoundrel. Why would he charge me for 2days after telling me I could save by returning the truck the same eve after he closed by dropping the keys in his door slot? That is less than a full day of use. Plus I was erroneously charged for gas. I will NEVER rent from this location again and will tell all my friends to go somewhere else. Had a better experience from guys on Crenshaw.

I was charged for insurance after it was initially declined and gas after I returned it with more gas than when I took the rental.

The owner had a problem with me declining the insurance and told me because my "credit wasn't good enough and my insurance didn't cover it" the system declined the transaction. I'm pretty sure he assumed since I am young and black he could manipulate me into thinking I needed it but with a 700 credit score (that he never ran) and full coverage (he never asked to see) thru my insurance I knew he was full of shit! Being judged and talked down to (over $10) is unacceptable. I'll never rent from this facility again or refer any one I know there.

I rented a Uhaul from this location on Saturday, 2/11, at 12pm. Per the rental agreement, I had 4 hours to turn back in the truck, which I did at 3:40pm (I have photo evidence of mileage/gas/date & time). Since the auto shop closed at 3pm I left the key with one of the workers who was cleaning up and I parked the Uhaul in the instructed location. However, once I got the final receipt, I was charged for 2 days because he checked in the truck on Monday morning when he arrived at work. I was double charged for the rental fee, insurance, and environmental fee (extra $38.08). Also after checking my bank statement today, I was charged another $38.08 yesterday so now a total of 3 days. I need to be reimbursed $76.16. I also put in complaint #1320544 on Monday and have yet to hear back from the regional manager. Please contact me at your earliest convenience at (248) 321-1965. I was quoted a price of $83.48 for a two day rental with 50 miles usage. I returned the van and wasn't given a reciept by Dimitry Kamar who said I would get an email with all charges. I didn't get sn email but my bank card was charged an extra $49.80 on top of the original quote. Now I have no idea what I was charged extra for. I believe I drove an additional 20 miles more than my estimate, but that should only have been another $15, at most. I feel like I have been ripped off with no explanation of the extra $30 charge. This is the second time, in a row, that I feel like U-Haul is ripping me off. What is going on with this organization?

I was charged $10 for insurance without being asked if I wanted or needed it. Charged $7 for a hand cart instead of $5 for blankets. I had the insurance charge removed and the other charge corrected. Mistake or intended overcharge? I was not handed a printed contract when renting but received email copy. Not a great way to do business.
