I I received an e-mail with an incorrect address to look for the truck, it made me lose time



Confirm that the truck is available for the time requested. The truck was not available at the initial location. I got sent to 2 locations because the first 2 locations did not have the truck.

Mark the gas level correctly. Don't leave the truck just above E... very bad.



Very bad neighborhood. I did not feel safe there. Shopping center was full of loiters and what looked like homeless guys just sitting on the sidewalks in front of the store.

The location had the AC broken



The truck was not the issue. Unfortunately in this case i arrived a bit late on a Friday evening in Miami. Arrived 58 minutes after my scheduled reservation time. I did not receive a call or any kind of inquiry regarding my arrival ;however, upon my arrival the employee advised my reservation was not only canceled. But as well my debit card, that was given with high confidence that i would not be charged anything with out prior authorization or confirmation, was charged a 50$ fee for CANCELing a reservation i came in a couple minutes late for. Once i heard this i of course started to ask questions inquiring on this such fee when i started to get mixed answers inthan called Uhual directly where i was very clearly advised there is no such fee for arriving late to pick up the truck. I became bery upset where then the employee advised he couldnt refund my funds until his agent was back from vacation. I just moved into my first apartment with my 3 yr old son. Those funds were and STILL are very needed for settling into my new location. Im veryyy unhappy and feel very betrayed giving my personal information being charged due to an employees negligence in assuming i canceled my reservation. Everything well and smooth



The truck smelled like manure. I had to clean the truck before i could even put my nee things in it and even then my clothes still smells like it. The attendant was super nice though i didnt want to bug him sinve we were in a hurry and they had very limited available truck.

The only problem I had was finding the location due to a severe lack of signage. What clued me was that I saw the van that I intended to rent. And I was on a bicycle searching. A car driver would never find it.

The representative that dispatched the truck was really rude and didn't have any customer service skill whatsoever. I rented the equipment via internet to be picked up at Miami because I live in Orlando, and my father was going to pick it up. I paid for the truck online as suggested, in order to make everything easier. Well to make a long story short, the clerk was screaming to me on the phone because according to her I had to swipe my credit card on the store ( don't understand why is the service online provided then). I asked her to speak to the store manager to see how we could resolve the issue, and she was only finding excusees to transfer me over. Finally the store manager requested to put another credit on file, and she was very upset because she only wanted to cancel my contract. In top of that she was being mean and rude to my father because he don't speak English. When my father ask her where the truck was parked, she didn't want to answer him, and he had to wonder all over the parking lot to find the truck. Also I ask her for her name in order to talk to her manager regarding her miserable attitude, and her response was, " If you want to complain you will have to call the company and find out, because I'm not going to make it easy for you. ( what kind of cuatomer service is that). I Just don't understand why people like that have a job as a customer service representative, instead of making customers happy, they just enjoy making peoples life more difficult.

I initially rented the van for 5 days. Had to keep it a bit longer but at no time was I ever told about the flat rate unlimited miles deal. I ended up owing over $700. I will rent a moving company instead with men to move my stuff the next time. Extremely unhappy about this!

Customer Service was horrible. Made me feel uncomfortable. Didnt follow general protocol, the overall check of the van. I was just handed the keys after signing the paper. The hand truck didnt have anything to prevent it from moving around in the truck. Seat belt was broken.
