my confirmation on the 3 was 1005 Lincoln Hwy. It is a store front with no equipment. Why is it listed as a location? I got there and set of the alarms as the doors were not locked properly the night before. I had conversations with the Police. Had to then go to Sycamore road. The sycamore address did not come until 12:57pm on 12-3

The online check-in and return process was awful. For pick up, it was never conveyed that the truck must be picked up by the set time or else I would be locked out. I spent an hour on the line with customer service to finally gain access to my keys. The return process went slightly better but still overall slow.

Nothing at all. Check in went flawless, the truck was clean and well maintained and drop off and final bill was very fast and efficient.

U-Haul needs to figure out a better reservation system. I reserved a cargo van closer to my location and to find out it’s not available. Why do you even suggest it then? Why not just tell me it’s not available? Makes no sense. The thing that upsets me most is I drive by the location and find out that there was multiple cargo vans sitting in the lot and I was told the nearest one was 40 minutes away. Very upsetting. I’ll probably consider another rental van company unless you guys figure out a better reservation system

They tried charging me extra for gas when I know for a fact I filled it up before returning it. I filled it up from 3/4th to full and that cost 33$ then they charged an additional 18$ saying it wasn’t full. I’m pissed!

The store employee was courteous and helpful. Everything about the rental site was great. The van smelled of wet dog and the back was quite dirty. I understand these rental units get used by many different types of people, some who don't care how they treat something not owned by them; but the signs in the vehicle say one will be charged if they return a dirty vehicle - evidently the sign means nothing. That part of renting from U-Haul is disappointing.

Sweep out the trailer before ha ding it over to a customer. This trailer had some trash in it. It wasn’t a lot but enough to determine it was not swept out prior to my rental.

Most U-Haul places will get dollies and pads for you. The clerk here just pointed. The pads were not all packaged so we weren't sure which to take. .

I would NEVER go through your website again. The location and the handling of me in the store was excellent! My on-line experience was unacceptable! First I reserved a van a mile from me - got a message saying no van at that location, but they reserved one for me 30 MILES away! (at 59 cents a mile PLUS my time? - I don't think so!) So, I went back on line and reserved a truck at the closer location. (U-Haul did not offer that option when they left a message for me to travel 30 miles!) Got a phone call back saying there was no truck - BUT they had a VAN at another location in my town - a mere 2 miles away! (and remember - that is what I had originally requested!) I tired calling customer service to voice my concern. After being on hold for 8 minutes - I hung up. So much for ease and convenience. Next time I'll just call around - and if I can find another vendor I will NOT use U-Haul. So - I would recommend the location and dealing directly with the places that do the renting -- I would NOT recommend U-Haul through the web site or customer service.

After 10 days i still have a hold on my card for 59.98 even after a second charge of 119.00 was processed and received by uhaul. Between calling and filling the bankhold release paper multiple times my bank has still not received anything. This is extremely frustrating.

I am copying what I already submitted via email ". I got charged twice on my credit card for this contract. $43.29 and $58.75 respectively. I rented the van for 4 hours and returned it in approximately 3 hours. I checked the fuel gauge upon leaving the store and drove 7 miles in total but before returning topped off the tank with 0.25 gallons because the nozzle stopped filling so assumed it was full. At no time was the fuel gauge showing below full. When I returned the van the customer service rep(receipt says Josh Michael but not sure if this is who I was dealing with directly)informed me the tank was 4 gallons low. I disputed that and indicated I had only drove 7 miles and just tried to top off the tank less than 2 miles away before returning. I said the tank must not have been completely full when I left.he replied that I should have topped it off right next door before returning. He then went out the door and got in the van. I told him I wasn’t going to pay a $40 service fee and four dollars worth of gas . He said I can go back and fill it up then. I said fine and you can go along and see that the tank is full. He replied “I’m not going anywhere with you because you are a rude asshole. I couldn’t believe what i was hearing and asked him what you say? He repeated you are a rude asshole. I said fine and got back in the van and took it next door and topped off with 3.8 gallons of gas. Not sure why it didn’t top off previous. Came back dropped off the keys he checked the van again and printed the receipt and informed the charge was $43.28. I said thanks and left without further confrontation. I disputed the charge but at no time raised my voice, threatened or used foul language. I am a 58 year old VP of a company and had no intention of escalating the situation with this person and am dealing with a completely disrespectful and dishonest business transaction in this manner by filing this complaint. Uhaul is a great company and I am a repeat customer and I intend to use your services again but not from this location. Frankly it was my worst customer experience ever and I think I was intentionally double billed out of spite. I request the $58.75 charge be removed from my credit card. Thank you."
