The guy was whining because his internet was down, and getting through to U-haul was a real pain. Maybe you could have a separate phone line deprecate from customers.

They charged me extra for mileage and fuel , this location was at least 10 miles away from my destination address, I should not be charged any extra to force me drop of that far .. I expect to refund my money period

We dropped off at 930pm and they were closed so we did have contact with anyone. Just out the key in the dropbox.

The one issue I have is that I put gas in the truck to bring the tank up to where I received it and just got an additional charge saying it needed additional gas. This is not correct.

I dropped my trailer off and 3 days later, someone was calling me from uhaul asking me where my trailer was.

Manager brusk. Felt like I was interupting him. Wasn't sure where to enter shop. Helper did unhook trailer and was pleasant. Parking area crowded and muddy. Location was not as convenient as I anticipated.

The owner of The Tire Shop is a self-righteous, egotistical, and ignorant ass. I started out by calling to see if he had a 4x7 utility trailer available, and he told me the trailers I was referring to weren't 4x7 but 4x8 (I was looking at the list of trailers offered on U-Haul's website while he told me this) and that he was pretty sure he had one available. Being the closest U-Haul location to my house, I shrugged my shoulders and headed on over. When I arrived I pulled into the first driveway I encountered for the location. There are two, one on either side of the building. As I was pulling in, I noticed that all of the trailers were on the opposite side of the building. This was my first time patronizing this particular location. No biggie, I figured I'd go in and get the paperwork done, and drive around when it came time to hook up. I went in and tracked down the owner talking with another customer in his "shop" (which is a disorganized mess), after being told by a random lady in a completely non-descript office where to find said owner. She kindly directed me to find him by going through the door down the hallway marked "Employees Only". After having tracked him down, when I approached the owner he asked me if I needed help with the attitude of "Where did you come from and what the hell are you doing in my shop?" I quickly switched into my let's-deal-with-this-Trump-supporter-with-as-few-words-as-possible mode and told home I was there to rent a trailer. He snapped back at me with, "And I take it you pulled in on the other side of the building?" His eyes practically rolling out of the back of his head. I told him I was a first time customer. He pointed out the window and asked, "Did you see all these trailers parked over here?" I nodded, trying to keep from knocking his teeth in. "Well that shoulda been your first clue!", he says. The rest of the encounter wasn't much better. I ended up having to rent a 5x9, because that was all he had for utility trailers (U-Haul doesn't carry a 4x8, and I already knew that). He continued to deny the existence of a 4x7 U-Haul utility trailer. While he was spewing his bull, I pulled up the website and showed him my phone displaying the availability of the 4x7 utility trailers at other U-Haul locations in the central Ohio area (none of which were convenient to my trip, or I would've ended this fiasco a lot sooner). In true to form fashion, he dismissed it with the suggestion that all those other dealers must've "entered it wrong" and pointed at a page on the wall next to his desk that looked like it was printed out 7 years ago, and told me with emphatic conviction that was "the list" of all the U-Haul trailers available in the state. I only needed a 4x7 and liked the $14.95 price tag on those but by the time we got to the part of this ridiculous encounter where I found out he didn't have what I wanted, I had been there for over a half hour already and figured I might as well just pay the extra ten b

Walt and The Shop rental location was great. Fast and friendly. I originally had a reservation with another location but the truck was not returned on time by the previous renter. They did not have another truck they could give me. All they could do was apologize. U-Haul should not set reservations so close in case trucks are not returned on time. This wasted about an hour of my time.
