The worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. So much so that I would consider not using U-Haul again.

When I arrived for my rental, the business was not open. The associate was slow moving and when I finally got the key 30 minutes had passed. The associate did not give me the furniture pads that I had included on my order. (I was reimbursed in cash After I returned the truck) When I returned the rental I was told I'd get a receipt in the mail. He actually did not close out my rental At all, and I got a call from U-Haul the next day asking me to bring their truck back. If you don't mind the wait, or possibility that U-Haul thinks you kept their vehicle go for this location!

This location appears to be a self owned rental location & he was having a very hard time with the process to pick up. It took me 45 mins to get out of the place with my rental.

The owner at this location needs to not represent your company. I booked a “contactless” pickup and my rental was the complete opposite. I was scheduled for a 7am pickup and when I opened the lockbox the keys weren't there because the owner decided to make me wait until he came and unlocked his store to get the keys from him in person.. Then when I came to drop off the truck I had to once again meet him in person in his store. Then he made me wait for him do an inspection AFTER i already did the online drop off confirmation. And lastly he tried to charge me an additional $14 after i already paid for the rental online. Worst rental booking experience ever.

The gentleman who helped me was rude from the beginning then after he realized I was upset he told me to smile, I reminded him how rude he was during our first interaction. He took a long time and was rude again when I asked why he needed to know my address. He had to keep helping customers which took even more time for him to complete paperwork... wouldn't recommended this place to anyone.

This location should not be allowed to represent U-Haul as a company. The location is a very unclean, and unorganized liquor store. Although I did everything online to ensure a speedy transaction at the location, the person at this location still took 20 minutes to process the transaction. The equipment itself, was in extremely dirty and unwashed condition. I am not a person who normally complains, but I have used U-Haul services many times before in the past at other locations and I've come to expect a certain level Of tidiness and professionalism that goes along with U-Haul name. I will continue to use U-Haul but not at this location. I feel it important that your company knows this information as it reflects up on your company's business name.

Processing rental order took about an hour and we were the only customer! Gentleman was very very slow but then again he was a bit elderly. No smile, minimum conversation.

Horrible!!! I used the check in from your phone feature to “cut you wait time in half” and that was pointless! The oldest slowest man alive working the seedy LIQUOR STORE where I was redirected from my original location took forever to do everything, i still had to do all this paperwork, show my license - all stuff I already did online - in between him helping liquor store customers. Then he had to lock up the store while he walked us out to the truck. This location was much further out of our way from the original location we booked the truck for and I had to bring it back out there or pay extra to return it at the closer location. Absolute worst experience EVER

Clean the human urine and waste around the truck . I almost vomited nearly five times while driving. The truck smelled like it had been used for a restroom. I was on a time restraint I could not go to another location. I've used uhaul for the last 30 years, this location is beyond my worst imagination. Uhaul has always had great trucks at a reasonable price. Truck ran very well and I informed my drop off location. I'm not looking for anything for my miserable rental I just hope I never have to be in that position again not able to go elsewhere.

AVOID!!!! Owner was rude. Truck was reserved for 2:00 pick up, arrived and was told to come back at 3:30. Owner does the rentals and that is when he will be there.

Auto tow not set up properly. Was not told about overdrive light or how to turn it off.

This location is awful. The worker took forever to get our reservation complete. It took a good half hour before we could take our truck, despite reserving it online. He had very poor communication skills and didn't tell us what was taking so long. The location is a bit sketchy too.

They charged me an 19.95.. when I went to return it they told me the computer was broke and I knew it was bs.. I was there at 345 and it says 509 return time.

The old man working there was extremely unprofessional, rude, was very short with me. Not understanding that I was in a rush. I will never go back to this location, nor will I tell anyone to go here. A horrible place to represent Uhaul. Which is a shame because I've been using uhaul for a very long time.

Got charged for furniture pads that we never received. Got grossly over charged for miles. Said we traveled 30 when we only traveled maybe 15 at most 20. The truck had used boxes and trash in the back. I put in the order to pick up the truck at 3 but to sit around and wait for half an hour because the one employee who knew how to rent out the U-Haul went out on break.

This location was the Second one i visited that day. It was cluttered and smelled of mold and old age. The first location the 76 has station In La Mesa, was awesome. Sue was very helpful considering my reservation was messed up. She went anniversary and beyond to assist In resolving the issue.
