The guy at this location just seemed way to eager. he called me the day of (I didn't answer, he didn't leave a voicemail) and the day after I picked up my rental asked if I wanted to return early (which I did) but because others needed the Uhaul. Instead of being eager for me, how about ask how my trip is, when anticipated without you trying to rope in new financials. That kind of turned me off to Uhaul. This location is also matched with a storage unit, so no inside but I guess its okay. Man was nice in person just really didn't like the phone call to be honest.

I was refused service because of my skin color. Black people should avoid UHAUL services at Bob's Bottle Shop in El Cajon California. To improve for the next customer you would need to remove the Uhauls from this location and sanction the family to never have a Uhaul franchise again!
Online check in and check out was great. My dolly was not in the truck so thank goodness I could go into the storage place for it
I take issue with UHaul's return policy. I rented the truck at 11:15 for a 24 hour period so my return requirement should have been 11:15 the following day. Instead, my return time was set (arbitrarily) at 10:00. That's not a 24 hour rental time. As it turns out I renewed my rental several times so the point was moot.
Figuring out where to park and drop of my truck was a bit a tad bit confusing because this location did not actually have a lot to park on, but the personnel was incredibly helpful!
The reservation process was very smooth and picking up the truck was even easier. This is a great location to rent a moving truck.

The mobile check in system did not work. My reservation said I was at the wrong location. When I tried to use the mobile truck delivery system, it failed. I went in to this location, and they did not have my reservation. I showed it to them on the phone, but they had no truck for me. The man at this location was helpful and scrambled to find me a truck on a Saturday near his location. I drive to the new location, and can't get in to the office because it's a locked storage facility. Just an overall nightmare as I was under a time crunch to get things done and moved. Please do not promise mobile check in, send me a video on how to do it, then tell me I'm at the wrong location. Just frustrating.
Everything was excellent. I do feel that the price was quite high for a 90 mile rental.
We wanted a closer location at 1186 Main, El Cajon, CA 92021. Also it took a long time returning.

Truck was supposed to have dolly inside that we paid for the day before, but it was missing. Had to call location once they were open to request refund for dolly. Truck was parked across the street where there were no lights which made it hard to see when reviewing for damage. Also were almost blocked in by the car in front and behind that parked too close.
My experience at this locations was absolutely excellent. I give Paul 5 stars. However, my experience with the Scheduling/Customer Service Dept was very frustrating and very disappointing. Specially with a lady by the name of Fontello. I originally made my reservacion on Dec 22 for the Bradley location. I received my confirmation via email. However I called a couple of days ahead just to double check and that's when the nightmare started. Fontello wanted me to go pick up the truck in Lakeside. I drove to that location just to see how far it was. I spoke to the liquor store manager but he couldn't guarantee the truck would be back in time. I called Fontello back and asked her to find me another location and she said only CLAIRMONT and that's way too far. She was really rude so I asked for a manager and she said she was the Scheduling/Customer Service Manager. If that was the case then it is pretty sad that a Manager acts with such rudeness and doesn't listen or care about a 30 years customer of u-Haul. She gave me a lot of uncertainty and anxiety not knowing if I would end up getting the truck. I had paid half of the cost for the movers; had to be at my destination on time due to my son being rushed to the hospital the same day I drove the truck to my destination; having to be in Las Vegas on the 1st of the month at 7:00 am for my mom's surgery and knowing I had to empty my apartment for the new renters to move in you can see why I was so stressed out. She stressed me so much I almost had a heart attack. If it wasn't for Paul the Manager at Bradley, I most likely would have ended up without a truck and paying a lot more money and not meeting all my goals. So needless to say, I will NEVER call Scheduling/ Customer Service Unser any circumstances. It seems they truly don't care about customers. They should change the name of the department to: The â€œWe don't care Departmentâ€ That would fit it much better. Thank you

All arrangements to return the truck to this location where done weeks in advance. I even had a conformation call as to its return. I finished a day early and parked the truck outside the location as they are closed Sunday. I later received a call telling me to return it to a different location. I explained the situation on the phone and was told she would make a note. At the. Location I was told they don't do returns.
The staff are very friendly and were professional.
