1) Make the location more visible to see. 2) Avail more options to the renters on out of state usage. 3) Make sure that the equipment is actually road safe. After getting on the highway, I realized that the truck needed to be aligned and tuned up. It was scary going and returning the truck. Other than that the rental was ok.

The day before updating my reservation to be 15 miles South of my location in an estimate 41 mile journey nearly caused all my logistics to fail. Moreover having a guaranteed 7am pickup arriving at the location I was informed by an overnight attendant the location only opens at 8:30am. I had to effectively beg to have them sign me in and give me the keys to the vehicle. Additionally I had requested mats initially but none were available at the time. I would like to thank the night shift members on duty for helping us out and definitely going out of there way to do so; however, I am not pleased uhaul updated my reservation the day before to an extremely poor location. It's my opinion they should have hired someone to drive the vehicle to my original location.


When I walked in the office the receptionist was very nice and informative, she worked quickly, the rental van was clean and in good condition. When we returned the rental they made it super easy for in and out check out after dropping the vehicle off, overall it was a good experience, and will definitely use them again.

My reservation was for 4:30 on 11/6. I arrived at approximately 4:15 and I'm told they're closed, yet store hours are 8-5? And because you're RUSHING you don't disclose that the gas needed to be replaced. I went 22 miles used 2 gallons max. Replacing the gas would not have been a problem but nothing was said. There was more than a 1/4 of a tank left. I was supposed to be emailed rental documents to that were not received. I was sent a text that contained an expired link. Deceptive practices. I'm extremely disappointed

Staff was courteous and informative as far as pricing. It's been a while since i rented a vehicle and i didn't know that i would be receiving text messages. But no real complaints about anything.


The first thing I'd do is put some kind of signage letting people know where the office is. Next I'd check the condition of the vehicles being rented out. I was given a 10 foot truck that had a broken cargo loading door. It would not remain closed and opened up on me 3 times while on the road. A few pieces of my belongings fell out but nothing was seriously damaged and thank God there was very light traffic so no accidents occurred. Still it was very scary and totally unprofessional and unacceptable.


The last three times I rented a cargo vans I received it very dirty with bad smell inside a cigarette with rest of food in all parts the second vans that I rented had a strong smell of marijuana and the third vans I rented was October 5 and happened the same very dirty food odorless cigarette I I talked someone inside the office, understanding I said was not important, I think with all vans who return, they should be cleaned due to the pandemic

If a customer reserves a truck, and a guarantee is given for the truck, the pick-up time is not when the customer should be informed that no truck is available. It is frustrating and time consuming, especially when it then inconveniences others.

Street parking in Brooklyn is almost impossible. Parking my own vehicle or parking Uhaul vehicle on the street became a real headache. Staff should come out of the office, inspect and park the vehicle themselves and not leave it to the person that gave them business. First and Last time this happens to me.

The location was difficult to find. There was no noticeable address or Uhaul signs visible. I passed the locations several times...

The truck had bumper damage. I tried to take a picture of it to dispute it but the the link wouldn't load. The website link failed to upload the picture multiple times. So this isn't a location issue. Just an webpage issue. Fix it.


The overall experience was great however the Uhaul Van rental front passenger seat was filled with dog hair in which caused my wife to have an allergy reaction.


Employee did not set up the trailer correctly cause damage to my vehicle no more than 1 mile away after pulling off from location. Employee was clueless about the equipment and did not help with anything. Very disappointed.

The payment process was down and the front desk staff were not able to locate my keys. I reserved a 8am pick up and was not able to leave the facility with the van until 9am. This delayed my moving process.
