Well first off the gentleman that rented me the truck was very nice! I was not happy with the price at all but I am aware that the store does not set the prices. I rented U-hauls for 3 years at Garrett’s Automotive in Shelbyville TN, The location was good but we had to track through grown up weeds knee high just to get to the truck. When we got to it I had to assist in unhooking a trailer that was broken which was very unpleasant because it was 95 degrees with weeds and chiggers all over my legs. They didn’t check the fluids or fuel or anything. The truck had mud all over it. Once I left I had to get gas immediately because even though it said a 1/4 of a tank I was worried about running out. So I got some before taking it to load. Once on the road I noticed a pull to the right so I stopped to check. The right front tire had 30 psi when the other had 55 psi. So I aired the tire up to match the other. So I proceeded home and noticed the windshield was dirty so I pushed the fluid button and nothing came out. I should of taken it back then. But I was trying to get to my family I hadn’t seen in 4 weeks and the threat of rain from the hurricane was going to ruin my plans so I proceeded to go to Tennessee. I was surprised to get as good of fuel mileage as I did so no complaints there. I was shocked to pay $549.00 for the truck when just 3 years earlier I paid a little over $200 I think for the exact same trip except the opposite way. And to pay $549.00 and have to fuel up immediately, put air in the tires, put washers fluid in the washer fluid container, get chiggers and assist in unhooking a trailer in the weeds which I don’t mind helping anyone but that was not fun, and also having to drive a truck with mud stuck to the fenders and a windshield you can hardly see out off. I’m sorry to complain but I started the U-Haul rental business up for Garrett’s Automotive in Shelbyville TN, several years ago and I made sure my customers were happy when they left. So I figured you would want to know how my experience was. $549.00 for a really bad day!

People's didn't know what they were doing and it took 20 minutes to check out with 3 different people because they didn't know what they were doing with uhaul returns.
