It was an ok experience. Workers just weren't experienced in the uhaul process. Took a lot longer than it should have to rent. Trailer was in excellent condition and worked great. Would recommend to friends and family though.!!
It was very disorganized, didn't inform us or anything! They seemed surprised we were there.
MAC'S Hardware was good but. They do not have '10, '15, or '20. It had a '26 Feet Truck. I went to the U-Haul Moving & Storage in Fargo, ND. The cashier told me. My ID Card is not accepting. Driver's License is required. I left Fargo's U-Haul then I used at MAC'S in Fargo. Not just $282, I paid $370 is wasted money for '26 Truck. It does not have '10 Truck. Yesterday I panhandled to ask for money got $19.00. Then today I panhandled to ask for money and got $31.00. Because '26 Truck is too big and gas is too big. I drove all over ND at all the times. Make sure you have the correct dolly. I asked for a furniture dolly, there was a pull-behind trolley attached. Not the same thing and made moving a bit more challenging. I think I was also charged for it even when I didn't get it. Great customer service though.
The cat hauler needs repair to the Crank. Most of the gears are shaved to the nub.
The truck cab was not clean. I had to spend an extra 1/2 hr cleaning and wiping down the inside of the cab. With a pandemic happening I would think sanitizing of all rentals would be a priority.
Wiper blades should also be checked be rental! Mine smudged so bad, I got caught in some rain and went to use them and couldn't see. They did come out and replace during the night when I stopped which was nice, but a quick spray of wiper fluid and a couple of wipes would of determined before rental that they needed to be replaced
It took 2 gals that did not know what they were doing to get the truck turned in. They both struggled with the computer system and never were able to print out receipt. What should have taken 10 minutes took 45. The one gal kept getting side tracked with a trainee while the other took a personal call when she was helping us. Very poor customer service.
The Mac's location was excellent. The manager opened up early so we could get underway. Now let's talk about the U Haul location at 1436 Main AVE, Fargo ND. This is the location I was told to pick up my truck. I've never been treated so poorly and with complete devoid of respect for customers. After this experience I will NOT be recommending U Haul to anyone!!!! I am a GM of a $39 Mill company and if any of my employees ever treated customers like this, they would be instantly terminated.
When I got to the location I went to the uhaul web page to sign in however the website did not properly work. I tried calling for assistance however the 800 number kept saying there is an error on the uhaul end which hungup the call. I tried the app which gave me more progress however when I went to get the key the system said I needed to return a key that I never even had. This whole process took 2 hours to sort out. I only needed the uhaul for 2 hours this system ruined my moving plans. I would not recommend it. Also I was charged 3 times for the uhaul 2 which had to be manually refunded. I am very very disappointed.
The van that was given to us had terrible exhaust leak which caused the engine to be extremely loud, and had to wait 20 minutes before someone helped us when returning van.

Decided not to waste any more of my time to write this review considering after the problems i dealt with theyve most likely took years off my life already . NEVER AGAIN . AVOID AT ALL COST .
Ensure computer systems are communicating with each other. Took over an hour to get checked in even though my registration was done the previous evening. The team member had to call various U-Haul sources to get it resolved.
Online rental and pickup was absolute garbage and took at least 3 times longer to actually get completed than it would have just doing it in the store. Will never, ever, ever use that again. Not the store's fault, just a horribly designed system.
Macs hardware was a great location. Uhual's website and customer service on the phone is absolutely horrible. The location itself was great. But I would rate Uhaul as a company poorly for them having to deal with its constant complications.
I need to speak with a manager ASAP I was charged for 4 days and I never had it that long
They told me I could pick up truck early went there and they were not even open till noon. Have me wrong truck size. Told them I may need truck a day longer when I rented it never said anything about a price increase if you added on. Not a happy camper....
They did ask if I needed help to hook up the car trailer and that was it. The truck had electric overdrive that I discovered. They did not have moving blankets. And when I had a problem with the truck on the road they were no help at all.
I reserved a car dolly. When I came to pick it up you didn't have one. Your staff seemed confused and unsure what to do. They gave me a car hauler that the lights didn't work on. After wasting a lot of time they got the lights working. Turns out, my car wouldn't load onto that hauler. I didn't know this car hauler wouldn't work until I tried to load the car on it. I had to bring the hauler back. Then a manager found a car dolly at a different location. After wasting 3 hours of my time you finally got me a car dolly. When someone reserves something you should have one for them. That's the point of a reservation. I tried to explain this to your staff but they seemed unwilling to listen. I was overwhelmed by the incompetence the staff at Macs and your 13 Ave location showed.
