The power steering on truck kept going in and out, had to call roadside figured the tensioner was probably going bad, also battery light kept coming on the windshield wipers were bad and the owner was rude. Will never ever rent again or reccommend!!!!

Called to verify hours and service rep didn't even say "hello" or any greeting when answering the phone, grumbled one word answers. At drop off I asked where he'd like me to drop, he didn't respond and began unhooking my trailer before I was even in Park. I parked and asked if he needed me to do anything and he grumbled, "Just get out of my way!"

When I arrived to drop off the truck, it look like no-one was around, and when I took a peek to see if there was someone working there, a guy shouted not to come in. I told him that I was dropping off a truck. The person there told me to drop the keys in the box and leave. I told him i wanted him to check the gas and mileage on the truck and that I also needed a receipt. he got very upset, i told him that i was going to drop off the truck else where, at this point he came out from his office and said need that truck because someone was going to use it that night. this person has ZERO customer service skills. I am never going back to this location.

The man who rented the truck was rude. My truck was rented in one location but I had to pick it up 10 miles further which was inconvenient as I had movers waiting. I would not recommend U Haul at the pick up location. This man was very unprofessional.

The first location on E Natoma didn't have my truck so I had to go to the above mentioned location. I was told the truck had 3/4 tank of fuel. Several miles down the road I noticed it did not. I knew right than if I didn't turn around and go back I was had. I was on a tight schedule. I went directly to my apartment in Folsom and from there directly to the storage facility in Lodi which was one block off freeway and before Lodi. After that I got gas and went to Lodi drop off. I was told I went 2 miles over and would have to pay 86 cents extra. Really.....That is stupid.

The manager is one of the rudest people I if have ever meet. He should not be working with the public ....He never walked through the trailer with me or for that matter ever said more than tree words to me ...NOW YOU WANT TO CHARGE ME $10.00 CLEANING FEE THAT'S B.S.

The manager of the location was awful. He was extremely rude, called me the f-word because he didn't like how slow I backed up to the trailer rental. I guess he was in a hurry. Said he was grateful he wouldn't be driving behind me because I was slower than his grandma.

The owner Dan Friedman who appears in his 70's is one of the rudest human beings I've ever encountered. This guy was using profane language while his employee JOHN (who happened to be polite) was helping me with renting a truck. The owner is a mechanic in which he does automotive repairs on site as well as run his U-Haul franchise on the same premises. Mr.owner Dan IMO needs to retire. He's obviously not a happy guy with his VERY NEGATIVE DEMEANER walking around the place trying to look busy but rather just looking for anything to B@&?H about! When I returned my truck rental I was waiting behind one gentleman who appeared to be renting a hitch trailer after I already parked the 26' truck I rented. I needed to get my receipt for the final charges. As I was waiting in the very compact lobby that was a very unorganized mess of u-haul moving products and automotive repair clutter everywhere all over the service counter. "Mr. Owner Dan" out of nowhere blurted out something while standing in front of what looked like a desk top computer...he then blurted out again something I couldn't quite understand and since he was just on the other side of the service counter,... I said "excuse me?" Mr. Owner Dan responsed "did you replace the gas in the truck?" I said "yes" Mr Owner Dan then while never looking at me, gave me a "Shoo away" hand gester saying " Ok get out of here". I stood there for a few seconds thinking WTF??? I wanted to respond with a "Who the H&@L do you think your are speaking to me that way?" But rather... I simply replied "have a nice day...smile" and walked out. Mr Owner Dan is obviously not a happy individual. But as owner of a business myself, RULE # 1 NEVER BE RUDE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I walked out of that place thinking "wow" the brand "u-haul" as big of a name they have in this country, they will sell their franchise to anyone. About 20 min. later I received my final receipt with charges via email. I called back to Mr Owner Dan's u-haul where I rented the truck to speak with "polite" JOHN the employee to go over final charges...remember I was Shoo'd off earlier by Mr. Owner Dan and was given no opportunity to receive my final receipt with charges. After verifying the charges with "Polite" JOHN the employee, I mentioned Mr.Owner Dan was a rude and grumpy guy....JOHN replied "Oh yeah". I would recommend renting a truck from another location. My advice to you Mr. Owner Dan...PLEASE RETIRE!!!
