When I went online to reserve my uhaul truck I was supposed to pick it up at bucket of bows in Ft Payne Al. So I go and show up at the place and of course my truck wasn't there. The employee gets on the phone to call Jason, the sales rep in this area, and of course he said that my truck is at another location. Which if the sales rep was doing his job then he would have picked up my truck and made sure it was at the place that I requested it from. I requested to rent 2 dozen furniture pads(24) and of course you guessed it there wasn't enough pads either. They only had 13 pads which made me short of pads ?causing my furniture to be unprotected during the move. I had to drive 6 Miles out of the way and 6 Miles back just to move. When I got the truck there was paper and dirt in the front and back of the truck. On the slip of paper there was two different gas marks that was marked making it difficulty to know how much gas was required to be put back in the truck. So when I returned the vehicle in Harvest Al ,of course I had to go put more gas in it instead of being charged by uhaul for not enough gas in the truck. I used to work at uhaul so I know that this matter should have been handled more in a professional matter instead of some second back yard country boy company. The lady that checked in my truck in Harvest Al was very professional and curious. I realized that there are some locations in Alabama and there are even some sales managers since uhaul is a nation wide company that there mentality is, well if you don't rent the truck someone else will. The guy at the location where I picked up the truck said several times that the computer system was new and he didn't know how to navigate around it but after 30 mins later he figured it out. Once again if the sales manager had his act together like I know Westley has in the Harvest Al area, then my experience with uhaul would be so much more pleasant. I'm sure you can see where the problem is.
