I wasn’t happy I had to pay for an extra day just because I was a few mins late. There’s should a grace period. Since I technically used it for 1 day.



Glad to be able to rent a truck for a few hours but was more expensive for mileage than needed to be. Communication could’ve been better too. When I called two full days in advance to reserve a truck the contact “Santos” said just come in and we’ll handle everything quickly at the location. It was not clear-cut process and luckily I had my hand-held phone to aid with the process, my personal phone. It was slower and more cumbersome than I would’ve expected. They said their internet was not working. Because of this I feel a discount should’ve been applied.

Well for starters my family has always used Uhaul and thats why when my mother told me to use Uhaul i went and followed her advice instead of hiring movers. That being said I had the worst experience ever. I am sorry to report that the clerk was not helpful in the slightest. He had a God awful attitude the ENTIRE TIME. He tried to charge me twice for the same Uhaul truck I had already paid for and I was at the gas station for a hour! Just for the costumer service rep to solve my issue for me. Even then he went and said “ill give you the key once i go to the bathroom” and he took 15 more mins to exit the restroom. Once he came back he took another 10 mins to give me the leys bc he was kn his computer!! His day was already stressful enough and that clerk did absolutely NOTHING to help me out at all. I will most definitely go to another location if i even choose to use uhaul again. This experience was so awful and so frustrating i dont know if i will be back. Please address this with that clerk because he shouldnt be anywhere near the service industry with the service i got.

I had a terrible experience overall. First I was changed from my original desired location during the morning of my pick-up, and was scheduled to go to a location that was not open on Sunday??? I ordered a 10ft truck, and was told that it didn't not qualify for 24/7 pick-up, so I don't know why I was sent to a location that was closed that day? While there I tried calling customer service and had to spend 40 minutes on hold before I could speak with Kevin in the regional office who was able to find a new location for me to pick-up my truck. Finally I was rescheduled for the Shady Grove BP location, and the person there was unorganized and didn't explain the terms to me in the beginning. I was just given the keys and told to come back in 4 hours. I thought I was going to be charged .99 per mile, but was charged $1.29 instead? Due to all of these issues, I was delayed by 1 hour for my moving schedule, and ended up having to pay my movers for 1 extra hour of work that was not planned. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received, and WILL NOT be using uhaul again in the future. Alecia Bradford, Reservation ID 24132297.

The place cancelled my uhaul after I had reserved it for the day. Truck was not clean had someone's drinks from previous rental. Bad experience will not go there again.



The truck needs an alignment, it would constantly swerve out of the lane in the highway which it made it dangerous for me so I had to drive slower that I should on this truck. Also the interior was very dusty and smelled like cigarettes which made my father not be able to ride with me due to the smoke odor because he has health issues. As well I got charged an additional $11 for gas when I filled up the gas in front of the clerk when I returned it and he said the gas was good.

Although it is difficult to get things arranged adequately in a busy gas station, I have to admit that (at least my truck), was not clean and had a great smell of marihuana. I know this is not the fault of the people renting the van, but you cannot rent such a truck.

The employee/representative at this location needs training in customer service skills. Also I was charged for 1 week and 650 miles, when I only had the vehicle for 3 days and 480 miles. When I disputed the higher charge the employee told me he could not change what the computer did. A computer would Not count March 28th to March 30th as One full week unless specifically programmed to do so. So either the employee is right, which means U-haul is charging customers for a week when they only rent for 3 days along with bumping up the mileage, OR the employee Input the charge as a weekly rental along with the higher mileage, which would be fraud.
