There was a issue with the mileage , the truck was on 9,000 something, when I got back it was 6,000 something which totally confused the attendant, he had no idea what to do, idk why it did this, google maps gave exactly mileage I added 20 miles for 2 stops off highway to get gas and trip to baldwinville and back, I was being generous adding 20 miles for attendant, what a joke the amount of my bill, pretty sure I won’t use Uhall again

Poor customer service skills. The guy was a dick, very rude. I was overcharged. I drove a grand total of 48 miles for a 20' at $29.95 a day yet I was charged $128.43. Where did these charges come from? You guys suck! You advertise as low as $19.95. In two sessions I paid $237 and $128 for a total of $365. Last time I use your service. You rip people off.

My receipt is not in my name. It was an added charge and the gentleman had no clue why. I can't understand anything he says. Never explained anything about the van we were about to take off with ! Wasn't told about the steering system in the steering wheel. Fortunately it happened before I left town.

The vehicle was not there as promised when I arrived. I was upgraded and had to pay for the upgrade price. It was a bad experience and I will try not to use you all again.

I reserved a 15’ truck and when I arrived to pick up I was told no truck was reserved. I left and called the U-Haul rep from Fitchburg that helped me reserve truck in Gardner. She knew what she was doing and very professional. She confirmed the reservation was accurate. Gardner had my truck reservation. I went back a 2nd time only to be told the truck was broken down. Luckily another couple was returning one they rented at the same time. U-Haul should reconsider this location as a business. Very disappointing experience. If you need to rent a truck call the Fitchburg U-Haul location.

Have staff that is better versed in English. The first I talked to had an obvious problem comprehending English. Another individual had to talk to me. In addition, the original pick up site was Townsend, MA. I learned the nigjt before it was changed to Gardner MA. I had gotten a motel somedistance from Gardner which meant getting up much earlier. Have someone who speaks better English. They did not show me the equipment or explain anything, he just said it's outside on the side of the building. Was told the fee would be less if returned in less than seven days which I found to be untrue. It was returned two days early.

Good experience! Van was clean and new! The man who served me was efficient. However, his printer did not work, so he had to email the contract. I was not given instructions or any handouts about what number to call in event van broke down etc. He really needs to provide customer with proper paperwork. I know at other locations, I have received a contract as well as a fold over brochure which included everything as well as how to return can and keys.

The gentleman running the place pffered no pprework on spot and refused to explain charges when we asked for the breakdown of charges. He said oh oh I just emailed you.. Well I was just standing right there why would you not explain what was what? Would not recommend that location to anyone.

Forced to accept insurance coverage on U-Haul Contract 89712259. Clerk told me insurance is "required, compulsory". When I suggested it was not he insisted. In the future I will not rent from this location.

The UHaul rental allowed us to pick up our van the night before and were very accommodating. The van was clean, efficient, and the perfect size we needed to move all our things. I would definitely recommend using them. Excellent service all around

Would not Recommend Dealing with call Center Gave my Visa # had a car hauler Reserved But 1st location had none So call center was a Big Waist of time Then Had to drive 1 hr out of my way too rent one and had a Very long process filing out form on out dated Lap top Owner was Very Polite Considering I was there over an Hour and we needed too call Call Center for help Surprise they were Know Help told him too call Area Rep Please Please if you must rent from U Haul Only Deal with Store Location you plan on Picking up From Don't deal with Call Center

typical Uhaul never again experience. I ordered the truck from orange because its a mile from my house. The 26th I get a call I have to go to Gardner, 40 mile round trip add-on to mileage. I get there and they won.t give me the 10ft truck I ordered. Impossible they said it was reserved. I told them that I reserved it but with the language barrier there was no point in trying to argue. I asked if it was the same rate, I was told yes. The truck ran fine, I did what I had to do and turned it in. But was charged 89 cents a mile instead of the 78 cents quoted in Orange. Its been 20 yrs or so yrs since my last Uhaul experience. and it is my last.

There were no signs at all for the drop off. I was in a 26' truck. Tried to find a place to put it, and the guy came out and had me back it up and try to squeeze it between another truck and his building. It wouldn't fit, so he folded in the side view mirrors and had me try again. I went a few feet and stopped and then got out and I was less than an inch away from hitting the other truck. Then I went to return the 50+ unused uhaul boxes I had for credit. These boxes had to be loaded and unloaded at every stage of my trip but I knew I could get credit for them. The employee then told me they don't take them back at that location (although he had them for sale). And they wouldn't fit in the vehicle that was picking me up at the location. So the boxes were left there. I plan to email customer service to get full credit for these boxes.
