Very convenient location for Godfrey. Uhaul representative went out of his way to help me. I've rented twice from him, wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was told I would receive a credit for the extra gas I left in it. When I picked it up the truck was nearly empty. When I dropoed it off it was just less than half full. Instead of getting the credit, I was charged and extra 8 dollars for mileage overage. Thecdrop off plave, Melville Dairy said " We dont do that". SO No Ill never use them again.

Your employees do not know how to operate the software and it took me nearly an hour to check in. They tried twice and couldn't do it. So finally I checked in online and that worked. It should not be this hard. They were super nice about it it was a giant waste of my time. Please come up with a better system to check people in.

I had a reservation to pick up my truck 3 miles from my destination and had to go almost an hour out if my way to get the truck i ordered. I had reserved the truck almost 2 weeks ahead of time. I did nit receive any compensation for the extra miles i had to drive. The location itself and the man working there was nice.

After driving there sales person lied to me said equipment was already rented. Called back. Other salesperson said they weren't rented so had to drive back. Even he didnt know how to rent it out. Trailer needed some serious attention. East alton location. Much better place and equipment

I had to go to this location as a last minute switch initiated by uhaul. The place was dirty. I had to wait 30+ minutes for my rental due to a vehicle carrier being attached to my rental. I did not need the vehicle carrier and the clerk on duty didn't know how to disconnect it. So I had to wait for a manager to get there. I received the vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas, when this was a non-local rental. I had to stop to get gas 30 minutes into my trip. All in all, it was frustrating.

Agent was friendly and respectful of my time. The truck itself "pulled"to the right, -which I reported. Front end didnt handle bumps well. But we made the trip of moving my daughter from NC ti Il without incident and I'm glad Uhaul was there to help make that happen.

Monday night after a very long day of moving, i went in to drop off my keys to the Uhaul. The Blonde guy at the counter had no idea what he was doing. He tried to find my order for over 20 minutes. Anytime another customer would come in he would tell me to wait and go check them out (which i did not mind at first). He finally called his boss and tried to work it over the phone.. still no luck. Then a crowd of people came in.. of course he has to tend to those customers so they dont have to WAIT. Well i finally gave up after 30 minutes of waiting. Told him that i had paid through the app earlier and asked if he needed anything from me. He said Nope! And i left. I will most likely never be using the APP for "convience" again.

Know and understand the pricing better. Know what equipment is available for rent and what is reserved. I was told incorrect price on the equipment I rented and incorrect information on the duration of rental. I also wanted to rent a trailer but was told it was reserved which it was not, the representative didn't know the difference in trailers he had.

When i arrived to pick up my truck It was not at the location the worker spent almost an hour trying to figure out how i was able to rent a truck online that was not there. This hour came out of my time i had reserved with the truck. the online app said i wouldn't have to go inside and wait in line. however the app would not pick up the location up on pick up or drop off. after all the misshap the store clerk somehow changed my drop off locaiton to be the same as the pick up location which is not what i choose when order and i even asked her if it was ok to drop off at the other locaiton. the app again failed i asked to get the number for the uhaul manager STEVE Wheeler whom i was able to leave a voiemail with and never got a returned call. I called the 1800 number and spoke with a very nice woman named Navia who was able to get this straightened out for me but again and hour of my time not to mention pure frustration. The melville dairy store in godfrey Illinois has incompetent workers and should not have uhaul services.

I was automatically switched to a larger truck without notification or agreement, it took FOREVER for the attendant to get through the computer work to pick up the truck, no one went with me to check out the truck's condition/mileage/gas tank reading. When I came back to drop off the truck I still ran into computer problems (a phone call to the boss had to be made) and found out the gas tank reading was not correct. It was not a really bad experience but I do think that the attendants should know how to work the computer and someone should go over the truck with you before you drive off the lot.
