I had a really bad experience - I had called and reserved with an agent and she reserved an 8 foot truck instead of the 10 foot truck that I requested. I could not get the people at the shop to see that I had booked my reservation first and just because she had made a mistake, my order was incorrect. I was asked to leave the shop. I had to apologize because I was upset to even get a vehicle. Later they promised to check in with UHaul, but I felt their customer service skills were lacking. And, I feel UHaul was really at fault in this incident.

I rented the trailer in St. Louis for one way to West Branson, Mo and was told I could turn it in any time on Sunday afternoon. I returned it Sunday afternoon and called the 800 number to let them know where it was. U-Haul now charged me an additional $21.70 and claim it was for a late charge. When I called I got a rude agent and was informed they would investigate and call me back in 72 hours. If this is U-Hauls treats customers it will be the last equipment I will rent from them and if it can not be resolved I will instruct my credit card company to refuse the charge.

Listen to the customer, even if you must charge for damages that are not their fault, be sure they have all the information needed to protest the charges.
