When I first picked up the van . The customer service rep took my license and read me the estimated miles I gave them and how many days . Never walked out to the van . I’m not sure how she got the mileage . I had to take the 19.99 cardboard sign out of the window and tried to figure out the equipment myself . I had no idea how to turn on cargo lights . She never looked for existing damage . When returning the rep looked at the mileage and inspected van for damage and full tank of gas .

You'll be hearing from me tomorrow. My reservation was changed DRASTICALLY, internally, the day of my rental; from a 26" truck at one location to a 15" at a different location. I called Friday and verified I was set and than an hour before my pick up time i got a notification that everything was different ?????? moving is stressful enough without trying to figure out what was going on with my reservation.

Not ask inappropriate questions like job name, supervisor name and phone number of, where is that relevant to using the truck, if no job unable to rent truck? He's an Army Veteran served proudly. I think it was discrimination. We never had to verify employment to rent truck and on top of that, my husband was double billed and nobody did anything to rectify this

This was the WORST customer service experience EVER! The man Maurice that worked there visiable did not want to be there and it showed in her service. When pulling off the uHaul the gas decreased significantly and I took pictures. Using the uHaul I put 6 miles on and the gas charge came up to $7. I explained to the young man my concern and he said you act like this money going in my pocket. I dont care. I asked for documentation of the gas tank he told me to take a picture. He was working with several customers in store and there were more in the parking lot yet he left the uHaul unlocked with the car running, windows down and AC blasting. (perhaps this can explain the issue with the fuel) About thirty mins later the man calls me yelling saying he can not find the keys, he's ready to go home and calling me names. The interaction was very inappropriate and unpleasant. I wish uHaul could hire better people ::(

I originally went to the U-Haul on lake ave and the lady who was suppose to help me was beyond rude. I’ve never been treated so poorly. I asked for the customer service number and she gave me a fake phone number. I was not happy at all. But the general manager on ridgeway was so kind and understanding. She was great help and answered all my questions I had. I would definitely recommend going to the U-Haul on ridgeway

Heather was wonderful, friendly and professional...I had tried to call to extend my time for using the truck and was told they would try to find the other people renting it after me a different truck if possible. The woman I spoke to in dispatch was not very friendly and I was just told "no, that is what is in your contract." This was disappointing and caused additional stress.

It was extremely frustrating to have the bags and dolly attached in the back of the truck. While I do understand some people may decide they want to rent this equipment during, it took up valuable space in the truck. I didn’t appreciate that we did not have the option to remove them, without being charged. It made placement of my belongings more difficult in the truck and resulted in me not being able to use all 15ft that were rented.

When I signed up for the U-Haul, I put my drop off location as Lake Ave in Rochester NY. I got there and the representative was on her personal cell phone chatting throughout our conversation. Between answering questions on her phone, she told me I could not drop off my U-Haul there and instead had to go back to Ridgeway Ave. Not impressed.

I was given the wrong mileage information and someone from customer service was supposed to call me about it before I picked my rental, but never did. So when I called the day if they told me to speak to the store and see if they could honor it still. The store said they can change the price of the rental and to call 1800 myuhaul. I plan on calling corporate and spreading to them.
