I was charged 14.00 for fuel but explained they are parked on a hill that the furl gauge is correct, also the truck has a big oil leak that got on my new drive way

U Haul personnel very pleasant. Greated me by my name.

I gave all my information when I made the reservation but yet the clerk had to ask me all that information again why did U-Haul not send that information to them

agent said my card was declined. I called the bank they said he put in the wrong number. I ordered 2 dozen blankets. Most of them were wet and frozen.

1. The drop off facility was a Tobacco store and had an unpleasant odor for a non-smoker. But the lady who helped me was very nice. 2. I had to make a 520 mile one-way trip. I purchased the trailer hitch and trailer light adapter/plug from the pick up location and they installed them and hooked up the trailer for me. At that time, I watched while the trailer's tail lights, signal lights and brake lights were checked. However, after traveling about 400 miles and darkness had set in, I stopped for gas and noticed that the tail lights were not working (the brake lights and signal lights did work). I checked the plug and cable and both seemed secure. Because I had to make the journey in one day, and since the brake and signal lights worked -- and since the trailer was narrower than my vehicle so my vehicle's tail lights could be seen -- I decided to continue to my destination. I don't know how this could have been foreseen/prevented, but perhaps better preventive maintenance is in order. Overall, a good experience with U-Haul. I would rent from the same pickup facility again.

I got a trailer to tow, and received no assistance to hook it up or to make sure I did it correctly.

First reserved truck a week in advance, got there Saturday morning and no TRUCK!!!! Sent to Greenbrier after an hour and a half. Reserved 26 foot truck was given a 20 ft. You Bastards ruined my move. Took twice the time and effort. Then you think 50.00 is going to smooth things over. How freaking retarded is that! 50.00 bucks. Don't ask for reviews until you learn how to run your business. 50.00 bucks, get real.

The lady there was very nice however she misquoted me and told me I would be reimbursed for any miles I didn't use as well as any days not used. When I called to inquire about my refund was advised I wouldn't receive one. I called the rental location and was simply told she was new and there was nothing they would do. I'm very displeased!

I reserved online When I got to the pick up location, the trailer I ordered showed on her computer as a 24 foot truck. It seemed hard for the clerk to complete the process, but she was very nice. I was told I could drop off at another location, but when I tried, the clerk THERE said my charge was over $100 rather than the $47 I was quoted at the point of origin. Needless to say I dragged the trailer back to the original location in order to save $60. I was not impresse with this part, but the trailer was good.

the young lady that I rented the U-Haul from was excellent love to see her again

The girl that helped me was more than polite and had a great sense of humor which made for a fantastic experience. The equipment was in great shape and their store inside was clean and welcoming. I'll definitely go back if I need another Uhaul!

They do not go by Reservations... I had a reservation 2 days prior to my pick up date. Called the morning of pick up and the truck had been rented to another customer and there were no more trucks available.... UHAUL IS VERY REPUTABLE BUT NOT A RELIABLE COMPANY... Not to mention VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Outside apperence needs work

This location needs to have more than one employee in the store so that U-Haul rentals may be processed without constant interruption from other customers. Also, employees need to be trained on the U-Haul system. Additionally, the U-Haul system should automatically transfer all of my information from when I request a rental on-line to the contract so that I do not waste time typing in all of my information and then have to repeat it for the processor to type in again at the time of the delivery. U-Haul also needs to improve their equipment availability so that I can pick up the equipment at the location that I requested and not a different location.

Rates are too high, gas mileage too high. N

young lady that worked there knew nothing about the dolly or how to hook up and said it was out back of building, You can go get it and hook it up. We ask if there was someone there to show us how to do that and load car on there and she said no. We are just a rental site. Thank goodness a very nice man came by us in parking lot and showed us how to do it, He was just a customer going to the store. Thank God for him.

I reserved 12 moving blankets when I reserved my trailer. When I left the location I had none and had to return for them. Then I was given a bag and told I had six blankets and I was charged for six. When I got to my location I discovered I only had three blankets which was not enough for my move and resulted in damage to my property. There was nothing the location could do to refund the money I paid for the blankets I never even received. Now I have to deal with customer service to figure out if I can even get my money back. Not the easy experience I am used to with u-haul.

Truck had a nasty vibration 60 miles an hour stop to check to make sure more tight under acceleration going to feel the vibration was even worse

This is a liquor store with one person running the store. We asked for assistance in removing the auto transport from our UHAUL truck and the worker said, "I'm the only one here, man." And didn't offer us any advice on how to remove the transport from the hitch. Gave us no information, didn't check the vehicles. I could have probably dented the trick or not fill up the gas and he wouldn't have noticed. Really bad experience after a long trip.

Guy at counter was ok - didn't talk much - is a mini-mart first and a uhaul place second -- but he did know what he was doing and was overall a really nice guy. PS - very impressed with the truck -- fuel bill was less than expected and everything worked in/on the truck.

Take their ability to rent Uhaul's away from them, they're giving you a bad reputation. I've rented Uhaul's many times so I knew this was not a normal scenario with your company. They only had one trailer left and it did not have a wiring harness for the trailer lights. When I asked about the trailer lights they told me to charge Uhaul if I got a ticket. I wasn't concerned as much about the ticket as I was someone smashing into the Uhaul and then I had to pay for the trailer due to their negligence. ON TOP OF THAT, I had to wait an hour to get my Uhaul due to it being at the Quick Stop location where drunks, pot heads, and meth addicts had top priority in purchasing their booze, "tobacco pipes", "jewelry scales", cigarettes, dip, and lotto tickets. (I couldn't make that up)... I contacted the customer service and they fixed the trailer light situation as quickly as they could by sending out roadside assistance to my location. Thankful for the customer service, but if the Quick Stop location is someone's first time using Uhaul they probably won't use Uhaul again...
