Very difficult to find the location. Poor signage. Two trucks in the parking lot. I was told there would be moving blankets included. There wasn't had to call the manager and said “did you order them?†Told me to get them from the other smaller truck. Cab was dirty. Truck sounded horrible when driving. Going to the other location on upper Wellington was a worse experience. Not enough staff to accommodate customers. No customer service skills at all. I had to return a product while I was there a customer had an appointment at 7 for a hitch and both the manager there and other staff straight out said it's 7 o'clock and we don't do hitches at 7 o'clock on a Friday night. You couldn't have had that appointment. Instead of saying I'm really sorry sir but we don't do hitch installations at 7 o'clock at night. There must've been a mistake on the online appointment setting. A little bit of compassion would have gone a long way. I wanted to say something, but it kept my mouth shut because I was tired. I ordered my truck from 941 upper James. You definitely have to make it clear as to where this location is and how to get the keys. The staff at the gas station knew nothing. Moving is already a stressful time and having to deal with incompetent people makes it worse I rented a truck from U-Haul five years ago and it was a lot better, not sure if I will be doing it again maybe if I'm desperate.

Jason E.The process was horrible. The online order and afterhours pickup has too many flaws. The customer verification process should be something explained in large info on the first page to prepare people for that step. That step put me in a very bad position as I was at the location with no workers, no people to have called, workplace closed and passport packed away for my move. Also I have used Uhaul many times in excess of 10 since early 2000's and never had such a crappy experience. They key pickup boxes were damaged and locks missing, so no key was available. Customer support was rude at first when I called in, but after a bit of communication she became much more helpful. I was also very upset so I didnt make it easy for her either. Entire process took just over an hour to get my truck I reserved. The return process was much more smooth. Also I had to clean up spills and such inside the truck and wipe off touch surfaces as they were very dirty and sweep the bed of truck as it was full of dirt and dust. Next time I am just going to the main depot.
