The manager was most helpful and utterly professional. When the truck I was going to rent wasn't quite filled up with gas because the previous renter didn't fill it up, I requested another truck that was fully loaded. She immediately swung into action and found the right 9 footer for me. It was brand new and even came with a camera, which made reversing easy, especially at night, when strong lights came on. This morning, when I returned the truck, filled up, the two staff members did a great job in checking everything within minutes and sent me an email with the receipt. It wasn't always like that in the past, but with new staff, better training in customer service, and with Shanara Bond as the new manager, this U-Haul branch rates an A+ in my book. Thank you, U-Haul.

Had to wait a bit on a Sunday morning. There were many people renting trucks. Could you another person. But overall the experience was high level and smooth.

An employee should walk the client or to the truck and do a walkaround for any dents, dings to make sure the truck is free of damage before leaving the lot (like Enterprise does). They should also help the customer get familiar with backing the truck or of the parking space and make sure the client is comfortable driving it.

Attempted to rent/pickup Van using app, went through all steps (slow) and then key was not in the lock box. Had to go inside for key. Van was new (~600 miles) but there was dried mud on wheel wells and running boards. Inside of van was clean. App failed when I tried to use if for return. Had to go in store. They were excellent and had me checked out in 5 min.

Mileage was a mile off and they never changed it. Not worth my time to call for 80 cents. The fuel measurement wasn’t accurate at all so I had to put gas in on my dime.

When I came to pickup the truck, it was parked in spot that was blocked by another uhaul vehicle, which delayed the start of my move and increased the time spent picking up my uhaul. Would not use Havertown uHaul again.

We have needed to rent a van weekly for a business delivery service. Two times we have called to extend the rental but the person who answered the phone never entered into the system and then we were told we would be charged late fees even after to called to extend. Also each time when we have gone to pick up the van there is only one person working and paperwork has been mixed up.

The latch on the 5x8 trailer was broken. I had a lock on it but while traveling on a major interstate, the door opened due to the broken latch and some of my contents spilled out.

Drop off procedure needs to be improved. A sign tells you to wait in your vehicle at a designated spot, but when I was there no one ever came out or made any attempt to help me. I eventually had to go park and go inside. There was no apology or explanation given, though other than that drop off was OK. But someone needs to monitor the drop off spot so they can let drivers know if they should instead go inside. Install a camera and microphone so it's easy for the staff worker to know if someone is waiting there and communicate with them without having to leave the building.
