Tried fucking me on the gas. I am going to show the charge to an attorney and show them my gas receipt. I filled that fucking truck up and they tried charging me 60 for not doing so. I also have 2 witnesses watch me fill the tank back to the quarter mark because they were with me. Don't use this company for your moving needs. Very dishonest

They told me I would be able to drop the Uhaul off at the most convenient location when I called that 800 number. When I called the lady said that I couldn't and that I would be charged a pretty penny for a missing truck fee. So I took it where the text told me and that place was closed. I then called the 800 number back and this lady said that I could have taken it to the place of my convenience if I talked to traffic. And that I wouldn't be able to take it to the texted place because there was no drop box and they were closed. The next day a lady told me to just take it to the place of my choosing. ????

Not a good selection. People were nice. Waste of time to fill out everything on line but had to do it all again st the store. Left side pretty beat up. Drop off location was no longer there in Park Falls. Had to go out of our way to a new location. Would of been nice to have the correct drop off location up front.

Super easy and efficient



Expensive to rent a tow dolly for a day, $230 or so. If I didn't need it right away, I would have just bought one for $800 and have it for future use.

I was not happy that we had to drop off the truck in another location. Originally, we were to drop it off in Lake Station, Indiana. Then, as we were trying to move our stuff, I kept getting text messages to drop it off in Gary, then Cicero, Illinois!!! What kind of business do you run? I was very unhappy! I had to take time to call you customer service number to voice my displeasure about this. She then gave me another address in Lake Station where I was supposed to drop it off.....different from the original Lake Station address. I would think you would want to run your business in such a way to convenience the looks like you want the customer to move your trucks for you and also pay for the mileage!! To get the truck to Cicero would have cost us more in mileage!! I hope I don't have to rent a U-Haul anytime soon! It made sense to us that we would drop off the truck at the same place we rented it. That would have been the most convenient for us.

Not that it matters but I will never use U-Haul again and I will encourage any of my friends or co-workers to stay away from U-Haul as well. I am telling everyone I know how terrible the entire experience was. Start to finish U-Haul was a disappointment. Absolutely terrible customer service.

When I called to inform them of a problem with the truck, the person answering the phone laughed, was not friendly in reminding to to report any problems to She was rude and made me feel as I was bothering her. Will use U Haul in the future just not from the Hobart, In area



I am only stating that this location was not clean and inviting due to their construction going on. In no way was this location an unpleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly and my uhaul drop off was fast and easy! I was extremely pleased with the experience all around.



Both locations were great; My issue is with uhaul.

The power steering in the truck had at least a half to an inch of play in it.



I made the mistake of not counting blankets upon pick up and had to pay 12.84 upon return for two "missing" blankets. I will be sure to count everything next time I rent from U-Haul.

Horrible truck... I rented a 17ft and the reality was a 15ft. You have a bag of blankets hanging on a wall which is a safty hazard. You have a handcart underneath it held on by a rusty wing nut. Of course on the first turn that falls off and you get charged for using it.. Obviously, safety is not on UHAUL priority list. Second time I have complained about this. Do not be disappointed if no one cares about any issues with the truck.



My first pick-up address, on Dempster (where I had placed the reservation and gotten a confirmation email) told me after I arrived they didn't have a truck. They sent me to a second location about 20 miles away that was CLOSED. Yes, CLOSED!! I returned to Dempster and was directed to the Touhy address, where I eventually got my rental. I cannot believe that (1) I wasn't told I was going to have to pick up my truck at a second location until I arrived at the original location, (2) The second location as 20 miles away, and (3) that the place I was sent was 20 miles away and CLOSED. The people at the Dempster street location were extremely unhelpful and provided no explanation for why my original reservation (confirmed) was screwed up, nor did they do anything to try and remedy the situation other than directing me somewhere else and telling me it wasn't their fault. They said something about my reservation and that there were sub-reservations and all kinds of bullshit that made no sense and didn't help the situation. How can you people not know the operating hours of your own rental locations?! This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Thank goodness Mohammed at Autotecx knew what he was doing because no one else in your company did (and, by the way, his location was 2 1/2 miles from Dempster, not the 20 I was sent to the first time).
