One attendant working meant we lost 30 minutes waiting to check out. Van was clean and operable. Got about 15 mpg. No issues. Returned paperwork and key after hours. Manager called at 1pm next day to ask when I would be returning and then confirmed they found the vehicle. Process could have been smoother.

My original reservation request was for 8am. I was told I would be contacted two days before the move, but I was never contacted. So I called the day before the move and they had set my reservation at 11am without consulting me. So I had to reschedule everything and three of my five friends had to leave early because the new time frame didn’t work for them. I waited on site for about 25 minutes before they even started my rental process the day of. The moving pads I paid for were NOT in the truck! The bearing on the front drivers wheel was only miles from going out. I have used Uhaul before with no complaints. But this experience was miserable and stressful. Not sure if I will refer people to use Uhauls from the Holland area again..

Have the 24/7 key boxes open properly, correct the time you open as posted on the door, as this differs from the internet, remove the 17' truck option since you do not carry these.

The owner was very busy but remained composed, friendly and personable the entire time. he made sure the vehicle was gone over before renting it out again even though it came back right before we got there. He was thorough in what he needed to do before we drove away with the vehicle, even though it was almost closing time.

Check in process was a bit ridiculous. Waited probably 30 minutes once i got there to check out, despite "saving half the time" by checking in online. Waiting area was essentially non-existent. Tons of people waiting. No acknowledgement from staff to the people waiting that they'd be right with them or even to determine if they were waiting for using Uhaul or auto mechanical service. However, the guy who actually helped us was quite courteous and helpful, once we got to him. I'd pick another location next, if i had the chance.

Better reflect the gas mileage expected from the units. On your website you list the mpg's of the 26' superhauler as 10mpg and I averaged between 7 & 8.5mpg and 90% of my drive was on the highway. I kept the unit below 65 and I was empty for over 60% of the 188 miles. This was very disappointing when working to budget costs for the trip and I thought with the advertisements listed on the unit about the design of the unit that it would achieve those results. I was scheduled for a 4:15 pickup. The previous rentor did not return with the vehicle until 4:30. I needed to be at my location by 5:00. Because of the 20 minute delay (15 minutes late, 5 minutes of paperwork) I was not able to complete the job I needed to for my project. Now I have rented a vehicle but still need to find another one in order to complete my project that would have been finished if I had received the vehicle as I ahd reserved it for.

Staff were pleasant and efficient, but van was dirty, both in the passenger cabin and the cargo area. I had to sweep it out before I could load it. In addition, it needed washer fluid and the notice would chime every time I started the van.

I cannot even begin to express my utter DISSATISFACTION of my experience from the beginning to the end. It was a complete cluster****. If you can't figure out what you need to do to improve, good luck. This is a company I will never deal with again, and this dissatisfaction is not the local dealer, although I have some complaints about the first interaction, but more so with your regional traffic and the national customer service phone people. What a catastrophe.
