Please make customer service is aware of the procedure of each locations .I want to 3 different locations ( that didn't accept cash only credit card, after I was they would accept cash deposit) Very irritating & time consuming !!

When we rented the truck, they said that the fuel/gas indicator is between 5/8 and 3/4 lines, when there is no 5/8 line for the fuel indication. When we returned the truck with fuel line a bit under 3/4 line, we were told it was not enough - to either fill more gas or pay a lot extra. I believe this is done intentionally to either make the customers put in more gas or charge more. We traveled 25 miles but put in 6 gallons. So, does it mean that the 17 foot truck does not even do 5 miles per gallon?

We requested pick up in Stafford and were sent to this location. this happens every time we rent from uhaul. Their pat answer is this is due to drop offs. If I reserved the day before it was needed I could understand this but not if I make a reservation weeks ahead of time. I do not like going to this part of town as a woman alone. It is not safe. We reserved a 10 ft truck (we have the email confirming this but all he had was 15ft truck. The first one he gave the back end was full of broken glass. As he was sweeping this out I noticed the rear tire had a 3-4 inch gash all the way down to the string innards. He admitted it was not safe to drive. He gave me another 15 ft truck despite the fact he had 10 ft trucks on his lot. It was a "smokers" truck and reeked terrible. It also had not been serviced. It only had half a tank of gas and was low on oil. Because of its size it was more expensive to drive and less comfortable I was also charged full price for the 15 foot truck although I reserved a 10 ft.. I tried to talk to customer service about where they were sending me to pick up the truck prior to pick up and first got put on hold and then hung up on two times. I am very disappointed in the customer service. This is not the first time I have rented with uhaul but unless this matter is remedied it will be the last.

I rented a UHaul van from the location on 8015 S Gessner Rd in Houston, TX from August 20-22, 2016. I was easily able to make my reservation and do early check-in online. This particular rental was to deliver relief and supplies to affected flood victims in South Lousiana. So we had donations put together to purchase the UHaul. In advance I purchased a gift certificate online for the approximate cost of the UHaul (325.00). I printed the reservation information and the UHaul gift certificate to have with me when I picked up the van. When I arrived at the facility to pick up our UHaul van the representative (female, unsure of her name) was talking on her cell phone and was incredibly rude. When I mentioned that I was paying with a gift certificate her response was "Uhhh what gift certificate?" She had no idea what I was talking about. I explained to her my situation and that I was paying with a gift certificate, and let her know that I also understood they needed a credit/debit card on file. So I provided her with my debit card. Initially I was informed by customer service that the hold on my card would be $80.00. However, without telling me, the store representative placed a hold for "about" $350.00 causing my account to overdraft. I told her I could not have a hold on my account for that amount, and that I did not realize the deposit would be for the entire amount of the trip. She then hung up her PERSONAL phone call and proceeded to call someone named Sam. Sam took nearly 30 minutes to get to the location to assist me. Sam also acted clueless as to what the gift certificate was, and also did not let me know that canceling the transaction would still leave a hold on my card for 2-3 days BEFORE he charged another one of my cards for the deposit (I asked them to please cancel the hold on my debit card and use one of my credit cards instead). So, at this point I now have a 350.00 hold on TWO of my cards. The van was absolutely filthy. There were stale donuts in the console, and my hands turned brown when I held the steering wheel. There was dust and trash throughout the cabin of the van. The wheel shook horribly and the van also smelled terrible. Driving the van for 700 miles was a terrible experience, and I felt incredibly unsafe. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with UHaul, and it was all in the name of charity. I am not sure if I will use UHaul in the future. Very disappointed.

The lady told me the truck was in one side and it turns out it was on the other side is she didn't even came outside to help me look for the truck she just kept pointing to go look around!!

I reserved my uhaul 2 weeks in advance on 7/16/16 so there wouldn't be any issues. The day I was supposed to pick it up I received a call from a uhaul in another city 10 miles away who said he was supposed to have my rental but he didn't so he didn't want me to make the drive over. I asked him where my rental was and he said he didn't know. Uhaul never called me so I called them and they told me they had my rental 20 miles away and that was the only one available. So, I had to drive 20 miles!!! I asked if I would get a discount for the inconvenience and mileage and the representative said not a chance. Wow, what a terrible company. Must be a monopoly.

I like to say big thank you to Manager Sam & his team and this Uhaul for corporation for best customer service * They always help us to find way how they can help July 31st I had big event and I need truck for my equipments , Manager Sam told me that this is very busy weekend and most of Uhaul location are sold out but he work hard to find one truck for me and Finally He found truck for me " This call Customer Service " * I can say people at this location are very trained to help their client to make sure we always choose this location and they really help us , I can see that Corporation is also keeping this staff happy that's why u always find positive energy at this location, * Ones again Manager Sam for your help on July 31st , I know you were able to tell me sorry we are sold out like other locations did but you find way to help us and we really appreciate your help ,

It was a terrible experience. When i went to pickup the truck i was told that my location has been changed. The new location was inconvenient and far. I went to the new location for pick up. They didn't have the truck i reserved. I had to wait and argue with them to get the right size truck since the smaller one they were offereing wouldnt have worked for me. I end up driving additional miles because of change in location and i wasn't reimbursed. I ended up wasting one hour dealing with two locations. I had to pay my 2 movers extra for the hour. The staff was rude at the original location and wouldnt do anything about it.

UHaul 8015 S Gessner Rd Houston location is the best store with 100% satisfied customer service, Manager Sam and his all team member very helpful , it take them less then 3 minutes to make reservation and give you truck key while other location take to long to understand what we need, I like one thing about this store is they always have key ready & truck are always clean and once we sign documents key is in our hand and they always ask us if we need any help with pull truck out from parking , * I always recommend this store to all my friends and strongly recommend to everyone, you always find help with smile and very fast Thank you Haul corporation for maintain professionalism

Do not overcharge your customers. Uhaul was presented exactly and still got charged with a 30.00 surcharge for supposedly not turning it in as given. Definitely not coming back.

Trailer tongue was bent, causing unsafe usage conditions, particulatly when backing up, was very difficult to maneuver.
