The new online checkout system sends too many emails. I didn't see the email telling me to start the self check-in rental that I signed up for. This led to the rental not being started even after Inpicked up the truck. Also, please tell customers when they pick up the keys while using the online self check-in option to activate the rental with the start button in said email. Thanks!

The truck I reserved online was not available. The team let me use a different truck but I was only able to have two hours instead of the four I reserved. Please refund half the rental cost back to my credit card.

The drop-off location was fine. It was UHaul company that over-booked trucks and the truck we were supposed to have and had to wait for an hour. That was control's error. The truck we ended up getting was bigger at the same rate, but it had serious mechanical issues making it impossible to drive back. It could have caused a serious problem had I endeavored to drive the truck. This extended the time-frame in which all of this transpired.

This started out being very weird. I received a call after 7 PM on a Friday that went to voicemail. As is typical with VM, it wasn't incredibly distinct. What I heard was "Jackson Videos" ...was leaving me a message telling me that my 9 AM pick up was being pushed to 10 AM because they didn't open until 10. No address, no other information and nothing from U-Haul to even suggest WTF was "Jackson Videos". So, I went to the location that U-Haul emailed to me and sure enough "Vacs and Videos" (with a sign on the door to Absolute Small Engine Repair pointing next door to pick up U-Haul) quickly ran through the rental. After the initial insanity (as if you don't already have enough during moves), it was smooth and not terribly distraught, but definitely U-Haul and "Vacs and Videos" needs to be more clear and get their collection STUFF better organized so that customers aren't pointed to totally unidentified weirdness that doesn't align with the information sent out by U-Haul. If the rental pick up is at Vacs and Videos and not Absolute Small Engine Repair, then tell us so we're not hearing "Jackson Videos" and if you (U-Haul) can not deliver a 09:00 pick up then don't silently reschedule us to your 10:00 option and leave it up to an after 7 PM on the night before "voicemail" to get the job of 'rescheduling' done for you. That was TOTAL BS. If you can't produce the equipment a half mile down the road at the U-Haul center that IS OPEN at 09:00 then you OWE ME a call that carefully explains what to expect and not some randomness. Ever try Googling "Jackson Video" and get an address? Think Thriller and about 70 other Michael Jackson hits. Total failure on U-Haul's side. And a massive fail for not being able to deliver a 09:00 pick up less than a half-mile away from "Jackson Videos" that is open at 09:00 and is clearly recognizable from the street as a U-Haul center. Zero-point-zero-zero stars for U-Haul corporate on this move. Even though things did eventually work out, I was an hour late and it cost me an extra hour of movinghelp.com labor that I believe U-Haul owes me for "pushing" my schedule to fit their needs instead of mine.

Jeremiah Scott took care of my contract. He told me you could not accept my card because it was a debit card. He told me he needed cash. I paid cash at the counter upon dropping off the van and while he seemed puzzled about something with the register, Chris told him "that is why we never take cash for a uhaul deposit", I was finally given back my change from the hundred dollar bill I gave him Friday. I later found out my card has been charged as well. I would appreciate a refund on my card. I was charged more than double between my cash payment and the charge put on my card on 1/14/17.

Enable to sub locations to entertain inquiries to military discounts and the ability to apply such discount. I will be using a moving rental truck service in the near future and again 3 to 4 months later after our new home is completed. I will be seeking the best offer.
