We had an emailed letter GUARANTEEING a truck at another location. When we got there for pick up it was actually at A1 Mail across town. Even though we were frustrated by the process and the terrible service at the original location, the guy at A1 was pleasant and accommodating. The truck was clean and ready to go.

There was no drop box and I was there waiting for a while trying to figure out what to do with the keys. U-Haul said to just return the following day and turn the keys back

The right mirror couldn't be adjusted (it was facing down and I couldn't see cars to the right of me) thankfully I had a passenger who could look and see if it was safe to change lanes. Without a passenger it would have been tragic! The spot where the lighter had been removed should be taped over (it's just empty now). Lastly, I reported that I was going to be driving 70 miles, yet there was only 1/4 tank of gas in the truck so I had to buy gas before getting on the road.
