The cab of the truck smelled of cigaretts. When we pulled the ramp out 2 rats were on the ramp the must have a nest under the bed of the truck. When I called to let Kristen know she didn't sound upset . But boy was I upset. This is truly unexceptible and she did not call me back after I left several messages!!!

I was wrongfully charged for additional mileage. $3.42 is not a lot, but regardless, it was additional mileage used to drop the truck off at the Irvington location. The location is 12 miles from my house, and we went at around 11 PM at night, at which time the gate to the parking lot was closed and locked. Had I left the UHaul truck there, it would have been parked on the side of Highway 90 blocking the entrance to the establishment. Because I didn't want to leave the truck in that situation, I drove 12 miles home - then, 12 miles back to the establishment to return it doing business hours. 36 miles were used simply trying to return your vehicle, but I was charged for 9 additional miles. This should be addressed with the manager of the return location to prevent a recurring issue of wrongful mileage charges to your valued (and once loyal) customers. Small problem - not so small impact on my purchasing decisions moving forward.
