Do not nickle and dime over a gallon of gas. There is nothing less professional than this.

Other than when I asked if I should return the U-Haul there or at the place in Cortland/Virgil and he says it doesn't matter, but it did matter. The rest from that end was ok. The truck was ready and clean. The moving help was an hour late and lazy, no compensation or discount for being so late. D&C movers said I'd have to contact U-Haul for that, I got no response from U-Haul at all on that. I wouldn't recommend D&C movers. The drop off was a mess. Went to the original online place in Virgil. Not the best place I've seen, the guy couldn't find my information and apparently it DID matter where I dropped it off. They were going to charge me another $300 and I only went 15 miles total from pick up to drop off. We'll see what happens with final charges, I didn't get anything from the place I dropped it off because he couldn't process it. Not my best U-Haul experience at all.

The driveway / entrance is in need of many repairs. Help was very friendly.

Your MovingHelp people Harmony Moving were unreliable, surly, dropped items. Will not respond to phone calls. Local office threatens me with harassment complaint for demanding they refund all or part of our fee. Because they were 5.5 hrs late, I was charged an extra day by UHaul for late return. I will not use either UHaul or MovingHelp again due to non responsiveness to complaints.

Costumer service employees were helpful, but took forever. Every time another costumer entered the office, the person helping me stopped my return and answered other questions. It was frustrating.

Have the products reserved available when the customer arrives for pickup. I reserved furniture pads and the rental location had none available when I arrived. They then behaved as if they were doing me a favor by not charging me for the pads I did not receive. That is not a favor, that is only not stealing money.

I picked up the Uhaul at 11am, at about 2pm that day they called me saying I had a truck that was supposed to be back at 11am that day. Wasn't a huge problem, but it makes them look foolish, they had to have some way to look at when I picked up the truck.

I pulled a trailer and and needed to buy an adapter for my light which I didn't find out until I was there. I had to leave and purchase it at an auto parts store, and there were several choices. I purchased a ball for my ball hitch from the U-Haul location, but they didn't offer adapters.

Drop off was extremely easy.

Please note that one of the blankets I received had a large, black oil stain on it. It was not noticed until it was too late, but the blanket was set on my living floor carpet, which is light in color. We have not been able to fully remove the black oil stain. Unfortunately we cannot afford to replace the carpet in the room or hire a professional cleaner.

Gas tank should be full when truck is picked up... then it can be filled back up when returned...

I did not have a good experience all around. I had reserved a car dolly and gave a credit card to hold it. I had seen the dolly at the store. two days before I was to pick it up I was notified that there was not one available and I would be upgraded to a car hauler at the same price, but would have to pick it up at a different store that was just down the road. Just down the road was 12 miles on the other side of town. Two extra 25 mile road trips. We had a 500 mile round trip to make to pick up a car and the weight difference would surely impact our fuel mileage. When stopping at the Ithaca store was told it does not matter if you have a reservation that one way will take precedence over local. What good is a reservation. When I went to Taylor Rental to pick up the trailer I was then told it was going to be a 165 dollars. The Girl finally call U-haul to get a price adjustment. When I returned the trailer, I paid the bill in cash only to find out that my card was still charged. So tomorrow i will have to call and try to get this straightened out. I think my greatest aggravation is that when you reserve something and give a card you should have some assurance that what you reserve will be there as you were told it would be and just because you are not one way you are not as good of a customer . I drove the truck 20.5 miles and had to put 9 gallons of gas in it to get the level of fuel back to where it was when I started. 2mpg?? Seriously?
