The gentleman lied to me about company policy and tried to make the Uhaul representative that I made my reservation with out of a liar, then based on the lie he told my reservation drop off time was cut to 11AM instead of 6PM, as it initially was. I contacted Uhaul again and was sent over to the regional office to change my drop off time back to 6PM. They were very professional and helpful. When I returned the truck, I was charged for 2 days and he told me that nothing was changed in his system and to contact Uhaul for a refund. He probably lied about nothing being changed or seeing any notes that were left on my account. I contacted Uhaul again, a very helpful and courteous representative assisted me by completing a Customer Action File and said he shouldn't have charged me for 2 days and a manager will contact me within 3 business days to resolve this issue.
My only suggestion would be to force Uhaul dealers to follow the same protocols and policies as any other Uhaul employee so the Uhaul brand won't be tarnished in any way.
