I was almost in a huge accident. I asked the man at this location if we needed to do an inspection. He replied with “nope, you’re all set”. Half way through my 5 hour drive one of the tires on the truck exploded and one of the tires on my auto transport exploded. I was driving 55 mph and saw my auto transport sideways on the road. I was able to get everything under control. When I pulled to the side of the road I called roadside assistance and they fixed the problem after 3.5 hours. Once he was done fixing the tires I walked around and checked the other wheels and one of them on the trailer was completly bald. I was paranoid the whole rest of my trip. This was a terrible experience and I don’t know if I will ever use u-haul again.

When we arrived at Carter's the place had three customers in front of us the older gentleman running the counter was incompetent couldn't make the computer work he had to call his son from home to come in and help him it took his son 20 minutes to arrive at the store. Then when we got our truck we had to go to another location to pick up our furniture pads and the appliance dolly . I'm sorry this is unset. moving is very stressful as it is and then have to go and chase your stuff down so you can get your moving done is crazy. His is the 2 no time we had to go to Carters and pick up a truck. The first time we got a truck the gas tank was 1/2 full I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The process itself was easy, but when walking in office it took time to figure out who was able to help me as it was a garage and not everyone did uhaul.

Well to be honest, we received the uhaul truck with only a half a tank of gas. Makes me wonder did they charge the people who returned it the awful amount of money per gallon and then never went to fill up the truck. That's not right. Anyway I told the guy in the office that the truck was on half a tank I even took a picture of the gas gauge. We returned the truck a whole day early in MD and I cked my account for the refund it was a hole $2.48. Wow unbelievable.

This place is very unprofessional it should not represent Uhaul as I have had better experiences in the past, the guy there did not check truck with me asked if I needed anything, and then when I showed up to drop off the truck he had closed 2 hours earlier than expected, I had to find another location to drop off the truck and was charged and had to call Uhaul to have a supervisor approve this.

The air conditioner didn't work and the tank was on empty. After my husband told the employee this, he was offered a $20 discount. This was a 26ft truck, it takes much more than $20 to fill 1/4 of tank, which was required at drop off. Nothing was done about the broken a/c, even though there was another 26ft truck sitting on the lot. Apparently, they were too lazy, or just didn't care to give him that one. It would be one thing if we would have been doing an in town move, but they knew we were traveling 800 miles for this move. We have used uhaul many times, but this will be our LAST!!

I believe that I should be refunded some if not all of my money for the trailer that I rented. The place that my wife and I got the trailer from had a couple of trailers that were in better condition but they ended up telling us that we had to take the one trailer they where offering or get nothing. The tires on the trailer were all bad and in total we spent 7 hours on the side of the road waiting to have tires replaced, we had two separate blow outs during our 3000 miles trip. The first one blew when we were driving next to a semi truck and the trailer tried to pull us into the trailer of the truck as we were rounding a corner. The next one blew as we were pulling off the interstate in Idaho so we pulled over and called to have the remaining 3 tires replaced because they were almost bald with 500 miles to go. We believe this to be completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory from your organization and I don't plan on recommending your company to anyone.

Confirmed that we were going to get two dollys, one utility dolly, and 18 blankets. Never received any of that. Not only that, but we were quoted a price $120 less and were told a different price at checkout. My furniture was damaged because we didn't have blankets. Very upset about my experience.
