The left front headlight was not working when we picked up the van and we didn't realize it until after we got on the road. Don't really care as much about the pick up point as we do about the equipment we have to rely on. Something as basic and important as a headlight should not be overlooked. Unacceptable.

The process of getting renting the truck was excellent. The place where we rented from was fantastic. Except for not picking up the phone. However, the roadside assistance is absolutely horrible. The number that is up there sends you through a bunch of never ending advertisements. We had to call a uhaul location just to get put through to them and it was a long process trying to gather information and then after all that they said it was going to cost $300!!!! I asked why because I thought roadside assistance was included in the rental. He said because it doesn’t include getting stuck on the curb!!! I was highly upset cause I was not paying that much money for someone to get a truck off the curb. I bought my own jack and we were a able to do it ourselves. But Everything else was lovely and fantastic! Need to work on roadside assistance though.

Ive rented from uhaul many times and will never do so again, the equipment was absolutely horrible we had to fix it ourselves twice because ride side couldn't help us and neither could a uhaul location.

The woman at the desk had her child there And was very unprofessional. Chatting at the counter with someone and not checking in our U-Haul trailer. Told us she would check it in and email my my receipt when she had time. We were early for drop off and had plenty of time. She apparently did not. Then I receive a call Demanding I call her back by 6pm or she is going to charge our credit card $30 and MORE. I called back and left a message asking why? And stated that we had returned the U-Haul with PLENTY of time to spare and there was nothing wrong with it. If she was referring to the dent damage in the front then she needed to call the U-Haul in Springfield wjere we had picked up to confirm it was not our problem. This woman was extremely rude and unprofessional and then to call and make demands was inappropriate. Poor professional Environment and poor service.

When the employee hooked up the trailer they did it incorrectly. When we loaded the car the trailer flipped up and and my husband went flying into the air and fell on his back on top of the trailer tongue. I'm sure this is on your video feed. Employees need to be more careful when handling this equipment. He could have been hurt much worse than he was. And he is still sore and bruised.

The inside of 5x8 trailer had too much debris from previous renter left in it; hinges were very rusty & difficult too engage/disengage; information wasn’t clearly explained/pointed out,concerning drop off destination .

Their customer service needs improvement. I was not tracking they shut down for an hour during their lunch break. When I attempted to apologize for disturbing them, (2 Lady’s), she kept on repeating they weren’t clocked in. I felt uncomfortable from there on. They’re clock in Time was at 2:03, that’s when I came back. I asked the tall Lady with glasses and short hair what time they’re lunch break was over, and she rudely replied by stating, “we’ll, what did my co-worker tell you?” She was also extremely rude to my wife. We came from San Diego, CA to Jacksonville, NC and we were exhausted. We really didn’t feel like putting up with their attitudes. It seems like they’ve been working there for a while and complacency has ‘BEEN’ settled for quite some time now.

Trailer was broken in multiple places and cause damage to my trucks tailgate

To begin, this was not the location where our reservation said to pick up the equipment. We had to hunt our equipment down and learned it was here. We did not receive a phone call from this location to tell us they had the equipment for our reservation... I have worked UHaul before and I know that it what is supposed to happen. Second, when we finally found the trailer, there was no one at the office to check it out for us. The "we will be back" sign said 1:15 and at 1:30 no one had returned. There was not a phone number to call where we could get a hold of the dealer. Therefore, we took the equipment and called UHaul directly to have us checked out. When UHaul checked us out remotely... they charged us for the insurance which I had declined when I did the online reservation and express check-in. I want my money returned for the insurance. And I think I should be credited some of the rental fee because this dealer was so terrible. Angela DeRosa 910-330-1939



I have no complaints about this place. Customer service is great!! Truck was in great condition. I couldn't ask for a better place to rent moving trucks/van from!
