The call center is causing scheduling conflicts with the local store. I had booked a rental for two days but it was booked in the system for 8 hours and the 26' truck was scheduled to be returned at 2:00AM!! That is completely unacceptable and left the local office scrambling to find trucks to accomodate the customers.

The eastern blvd location is top notch. Great customer service. However when I called this location my phone call was sent to an individual that did not have a clue as to what was going on. I explained that I was on my way to Jeffersonville , Eastern Blvd. location and she assured me they had what I needed. Get to location and all units had already been rented . The system for phone calls sucks.

Have someone at the front desk when I walk in, the guy was having to work out in the garage, so took him a minute to get inside to help me. I returned the van on-time at 10PM along with dropping the keys into the dropbox and was called the next morning asking when I was going to return the van and it wasn't out there.... probably won't use this location again.

The General Manager Clayton was very polite and professional. The office was clean and organized. Clayton answered all of our questions. The vehicle was in top shape, very clean.

I should have gotten a discount because I took off work to pick up the truck at 7.... the guy who finally showed up at 730 looked like he was sleeping in his car and yawning the entire time. Very unprofessional.

there was confusion on payment. I had held the truck for pickup with my credit card, not knowing that when my son picked up the van, he would be charged on his card. This was explained today when I returned the van. I thought that when I swiped my card for insurance and van to be picked up, that I would be charged . Perhaps if that information could be made clearer when a van is reserved, that that card would not be used when van is picked up unless(in my case) my son would have had my card. I will just reimburse my son for the charges. It was a great move, thanks

When I called Uhaul, the person at the call center took my reservation and credit card # for the specific truck at the specific location; however when I went to pick up the truck, it was rented already. I don't understand the process of taking my credit card to hold the truck if Uhaul doesn't fulfill the verbal agreement? This is poor customer service. Not to mention the Center Manager says this happens all the time. After deep discussion of how this violates a verbal agreement hence Uhaul states taking the credit card number is for holding that specific truck: he gave us a larger truck which I really didn't want because I didn't need that much space, more difficult to drive in city and they require more gas so it is all around less efficient for the customers. Clayton did give us this truck for the smaller truck value. It was easy to tell that he was understaffed, tired and backed up against wall with the call centers lack of knowledge on his truck inventory. This is poor service and this location is in a market that has 3.7 unemployment rates which is not the best approach at keeping a dedicated employee. Clayton had horrible hygiene (smell and appearance for a manager) however he was present and trying to make it right for Uhaul.

An appointment was made in advance. When we arrived we waited almost 40 minutes while customers who did not have appointments were waited on. I called the manager to ask why they offer appointments if Uhaul cannot keep appointments and it was one excuse after another. Will not rent from this location ever again.

We had a lot of issues with our truck. Truck shifted hard going uphill, the weather stripping kept falling off the driver side door, the roll up door got jammed while it was open (the latch went above the stop), and our latch didn't work properly closed either. The roll up door flew open while driving on the interstate. I think it's time to retire this truck.

Terrible experience location overbooked our vehicle was not there sent us to Charlestown but charged us the one way fee instead of the 29.95 and tried to tell us they were giving us additional mileage free They did NOT. I have used this location Several times but will NEVER use this location again. Mgr was rude but after a long time on the phone gave me a VIP certificate of $25 for a purchase. I wasn't looking for $ I don't feel we were treated fairly. Why should we pay a higher one way fee because they overbooked and sent us somewhere else to pick up the vehicle. We were the 3rd customer they sent to Charlestown by 9.30 am.
