There are many other locations in Keliwna that would have been a better choice.

The trailer was going to be rented to me had one tire that had separated and had a big bubble. Another tire was at 13 psi and 32 psi when they should be at 65psi. It took 4hrs to get a tire on when a new tire was in their shop and tire shop across the street. This is an extremely dangerous piece of equipment to have on the road. I have called the police to send their inspection units to all your facilities as I saw many other vehicles that looked badly maintained. I am a professional driver and found the defects when I did my pre-trip inspection. Your employees don't do it and they said so.

The truck was clean and the young lady helping me was very nice. However, the fuel line from the gas spout to the tank has a leak and when I went to fill the truck up at my stop it poured several litres of fuel on the ground. The gas station was not happy.

We picked up the truck on 6 Oct 2018 and pre-paid the $829.50 charge with VISA credit card. We loaded the truck that day, and drove it approximately 650 kms, the following day, 7 October 2018, and unloaded the truck. The following day, Thanksgiving Monday, we returned the truck to Diesel Monkey. The location was closed because of the holiday, we left the keys etc., in the drop box. The vehicle was returned in the same condition as when we picked it up from the rental location. On Tuesday, 9 October 2018, a charge of $4,716.10 as an "Authorized" transaction to my VISA account. We called the 1-800 number to report this erroneous/fraudulent charge. The contact person at UHaul head office filed an "objection" and stated Diesel Monkey needed to call in with 48 hours to correct this erroneous charge. This person was shocked at the amount of this ridiculous charge. The UHaul reference number of 2000983. 10 October 2018, the proper charge of $829.50 was posted to my VISA account. The $4,716.10 was still showing as an Authorized transaction. 11 October 2018, the fraudulent charge was still showing as an Authorized transaction. I called again an spoke to a District Manager for British Columbia. He stated the fraudulent charge has been refunded, but is not sure how long it will take to process this by VISA. When I asked about how and why this charge was levied, the DM stated the vehicle was switched miles to kilometers. As all our rental documentation shows the odometer reading was in kilometres, this appears to be a blatant fabrication to appease me, and cover up for a serious error on the part of Diesel Monkey. As of today, 14 October 2018, the fraudulent charge is still showing as a VISA Authorized transaction. If this charge is not removed by 18 October 2018, I will be contacting VISA and reporting it as a criminal fraud.

It's challenging to answer these questions, as the office was not open when we dropped off the truck.
