Make sure the gas is actually where the customer before said it was. Our truck was on empty and we had to put 30$ in before we could even take it. We made one trip picking the truck up at D&M Service Center Ltd went to Waterville then Whiterock and back to D&M and it cost us almost $140 gas included. Kinda expensive one load trip. Hope I don't have to rent another anytime soon. Especially from there. The originally young lady who waited on us was very lovely but the young man thatcwasctherecon return of the truck was very rude and ignorant.

The hours for this location are great, however it is a very busy place and one employee on the weekends. They sell gas. They advertise "last chance to fill up" and people do. They run a laundrymat. They sell propane refills. They sell the usual stuff a gas station sells like snacks. The one employee on the weekend does not put the U-Haul customer in priority as first come, first serve. It is absolutely last-serve policy. If filling in forms and someone pulls in for gas, or to discuss the new pavement, that takes #1 priority. This is my second visit there on a weekend. Two weeks ago it took 45 minutes to get the paperwork and rent a small panel van. Today it took 20 minutes to return a truck, and that was faster because the station was slow. This site really needs 2 employees to cover off all of the duties the business runs. I was pissed off enough that I forced him to take some pennies as part of my payment.

The cube van we rented was filthy and it smelled like a barn. There was mud and dirt (given the smell, possibly also manure) all over the floor of the van, which we rented to pick up a new mattress. Will not be renting from here again!

I was extremely unsatisfied with my uhaul order. I booked my reservation on March 29th, and couldn't get a firm confirmation until 7pm the night before I was to pick up on April 30th. In the confusion I had to drive 12 hours to New Brunswick and back to pick up my fathers pickup truck in the event that uhaul couldn't come through with the reservation. This ended up costing me more than $200 because of your policy of giving priority to those who book for longer, regardless of booking date. Will not be renting a uhaul again or recommending to a friend.

The vehicle was not ready for pickup at the scheduled time. This is not the fault of the location, but the fault of the previous customer. However, I feel that the Booking confirmation is misleading as it was a "guaranteed" pick up time.

It would have been nice if I had gotten the truck I ordered had been there instead of a small van. My order did change to van after it showed me I had a confirmation of a truck. I fail to see how a confirmation can change but it did. I was informed by staff at the location I picked up the van I didn't want that sometimes the order can change and u-Haul can bump some customers from what they ordered, If I had wanted a van I would ordered one. I did not appreciate having my order changed and having no choice but to take it or leave it. I am on a very fixed income and it made it hard on me and my sister that I was moving out of a very violent and abusive relationship and we all have health problems and it made twice as much work, not to mention we had to take a risk going back to her former residence to use my personal van the next day, more gas, another long trip and drive. When people depend on the accuracy of your system and pay for your equipment they expect to get what they pay for, not oh sorry. I realize this a huge company and you get many, many complaints and feedback, based on what happened I don't really expect to hear from you. When, I watched my sister cry, when she saw the little van and knew she would have to risk coming back to where she almost lost her life, I felt so bad, like I let her down. Horrible experience from start to finish. I scheduled the truck via a phone call around 3pm and when I arrived in Kentville (from Greenwood) at around 5pm the truck was not there. The people at D&M Services scrambled to provide me a truck and realized that they had given the wrong keys to another person and stated out loud that the mileage is going to be a mess/wrong due to this. It was admitted that no one looked over my truck or could look over it - and once I got in it, this was clearly evident. The truck was pretty much on empty when I picked it up and the oil change light was on the entire time. The place in which I rented it (In Kentville) was not helpful for they can't answer any questions or provide any help with the U-Haul due to them not actually being a part of the U-Haul company. Completely frustrating and not to mention, dangerous. I would not rent from this place again nor would I ever recommend it to any one.

Beaware the price you are quoted on the website is not what you pay when you get there i was quoted 39$ and it said that didnt include taxes when i got there i paid 105.00$ and received some back when i took back the uhaul.

When calling in to rent, make sure to let people know if the truck needs to be returned to the same location. Otherwise, really excellent workers and great customer service!

I told the agents when I would have the truck back and I kept getting called askin me when I was bringing the truck back, which slowed down my unpacking of the truck. I was nearly late from needing to answer my phone so many times. Not appreciated. The level of gas on paper was greater than the amount in the truck. Not the best experience

The individual was the only person working at the counter at the time but he did a great job at juggling between those coming in to pay for gas and getting my stuff ready. It was boxing day so there was a potential for short staff because of the holiday which is understandable. He also came out to help make sure the trailer was on my SUV properly which was very much appreciated.
