Owners are rude and unprofessional. Had Their masks off while we were in the store with them. No customer service skills and almost no knowledge of uhaul products - every single question about booking was answered with â€œcheck the website we don't knowâ€. They never told us a return time and then charged us $85 for bringing it back a few hours late. I will never be returning to this location and will be sharing my experience with othersSarah N.

I will never rent from Daisy Mart Esso Kincardine ever again. No one contacted me to confirm my rental even though I reserved a week in advance. When I go there day of, the equipment wasn't there and instead of apologizing, he went immediately to defense saying it wasn't verified to me, and gave me the uhaul 1800 number and told me to call them to figure it out myself. They didn't have a dedicated counter so we stood in front of a display of bongs and other smoking paraphernalia. When we went to hook up a trailer, they just said, "There it is, are you OK?" If i wasn't experienced with towing and with your trailers in particular. I would have been sunk. No explanation, no walk around, nothing.Rodney G.
There is a pandemic COVID-19 going on. The two men at this store were not wearing masks. There is Plexiglass up at the counter but he kept having me go to the other end of the counter to finish the transaction where there is no Plexiglass. The truck had french fries on the floor when I was asked to move it to the front of the store. It had been dropped off after hours the night before and not cleaned yet when I picked it up 30 minutes latter than my scheduled pick up time. So I know it was not disinfected between customers. I did all my checkout on line to save time at the pick up and reduce contact with people. It took over 30 minutes to check out the truck while having to be in the store with customers coming and going and some not wearing masks. The one man was very friendly and did his best. Location was the wrong location for my pick up. It cost me 3 hrs of my time. Irrespective of that, the place was dirty and the owner who serviced me was awful. He tried to scam me out of the dozen blankets I preordered and I had to force the issue in order to get them.Craig M.

There was dead bugs in the truck, also had a horrible time trying to pick up with the mobile app. We had to change locations to pick up because we could not get it verified with the agent. First it was because the drivers license picture did not look the same as the picture I took, we had to send about 5 seperate pictures. I told her it was a 5 year difference from the photos, she said that was not the problem. She had problem with verifying the alternate contact, I told her twice that the ones we put down would not answer and I have to give her two new ones. She did not take the new ones and cancelled the chat and said we need to go to a different location to get it verified in person. It took us 2 hours to get the uhaul when it was already a busy moving day for us. All while this happened we were on the phone with a representative from uhaul who was helping us, and even she said the agent was being rude and making things frustrating for us.JACOBMICHAEL K.
The truck battery was dead. Needed to be boosted. The guy working there didn't know how to open the hood or how to hook up the jumper cables. They only had 6 blankets not the 24 I had ordered. Truck drove horribly. Very disappointing experienceAndrew B.
