I dropped the truck off after dark. The parking lot was dark and there were no lights on the building for after hours key drop off. I felt a bit sketchy.

Dropped off equipment late and night with no one there. They called me and let me know when the equipment was checked in. I really appreciate the followthrough!

Very rude and unknowledgable staff. The person in charge is the mother of the office assistant which helped me. The daughter was unable to answer any questions in regards to the equipment, and was very dismissive of my concerns about the equipment. I simply asked for some documentation which states that they were aware of damage previously made to the rental truck. The daughter said that it should be fine. I stated I wil call them a little later to inquire about the damage. I onstead regurned to pick up my personal vehicle and ask again about documentation for prior samage which I personally showed the daughter BEFORE i left the facility. She called her mother in front of me, but dis not allow me to speak to her. After her call, she states that she was foing to put stickers on the famaged areas of the truxk and tjat O neesed it there. O dis not have the truxk there as I had been dropped off to pick up my perso al vehicle, and the Uhaul was parked at my residence. She said she needed to verify the damage on the teuxk which I previously showed her. She even acted as if she dis not remember seeing any prior damage. She even webt as far as saying if i didnt like it, I could return the truck. Minf you that I already paid movers tbrough Uhaul to load the truck thst afternoon anf I was set to move the next morning. I told her that Ibwas upset with my ezperience amd she saif to stop acting like a child and leave. I later calles the fegio al manager of Lafayette and whike he listened to my concerns, he did not seem very sensitive to my experience.There are many more facts/complaints that I can share about my terrible experience, but I simply don't have the time currently. Overall I believe the mother should have been the one to check me out, and follow up with my concerns. The daughter was unknowledgable, unhelpful, rude, and just a terrible representative for Uhaul. I may never rent from this company again based on my experience!

I ordered a truck and fridge dolly from a location open all day Saturday. One day before pickup, I was told my pickup location had changed to another place in town which was only open til noon. I then had to replan my moving trip. When I arrived, they had no fridge dolly. The way this company processes their orders is baffling to me. After getting the truck, I picked up a fridge dolly from another u haul location 30 minutes away. SIMPLIFY THE ORDERING PROCESS. THE WEB SITE SHOULD SHOW EACH LOCATIONS INVENTORY. When renting something, one should be able to chose where they rent it from online. If the website lets you choose certain options and checkout with them, the customer expects to get what they order from where they ordered it. The 20' truck had an air conditioner that was easily overpowered by the heat of the engine. It was hot and miserable.
