I don’t like that because I’m white they assume I don’t speak Spanish. I dropped it off cleaner than I found it so I don’t feel I should be charged either a cleaning fee or be made to sweep it. The lady who spoke to me was fine, but I don’t appreciate the second lady speaking only in spanish saying I need to charged a cleaning fee.

Was told at this location that if I returned the unit within a day there would be a day's rental fee returned, but at the drop off they told me I had bad info. Didn't happen

First the lady came out and looked around the vehicle extra hard, as if by looking at us (racially I feel) she just knew we had messed something up. She gets inside the vehicle to check the gages, then proceeded to tell us it smells like narcotics and asked do any of us do narcotics. I nor my company looked anything like we do narcotics nor did the vehicle smell like it. She proceeds to tell her manager to come out to inspect the vehicle for the second time. I'm guessing she wanted him to come out and find something to prove her false suspicion. He proceeded to overly inspect as well. At this point I'm highly angered. He was saying little slick talk to my friends I had with me about the vehicle. I didn't even start out coming to this particular one, but the one on Challenger way had their door locked with the closed sign up. I actually liked them the last time I dropped off, they didn't harass nor accuse like this one. Then lastly they charged me for extra mileage which I feel should've been knocked off being that we were ill informed that if we took the vehicle just up the way from the original one they would charge us. This started out as a good experience until I ended up at this location for the drop off.

When I first got my confirmation, it told me that I would need my mobile phone at pick up since i was picking it up after hours, but it didn’t inform me of the process of picking it up. I got there 15 minutes early and was clueless on what to do until I called customer service and they told me the about the steps. However I still had problems because I was told by the online rep that I didn’t fill out some information on my account, which is strange because I did this while reserving my truck. I filled it out the information they needed and when I went back to the pick up process, the button that says “Are you ready to pick up?” Was gone. I had to call customer service again to help me with this problem. I got to the part where I need to pick up the keys but there was no key there and I called customer service again to tell them that ther was no key. They told me that it was somewhere on the body but no other information. They then called the person who owns that u haul property and the owner said that they would be there in half an hour to give me my keys. My pick up time was 7 pm and I didn’t pick my u haul up until 8:30. I feel that all of that would have been avoided if they would have told me about the after hours pick up process in my email and a step by step with pictures of each screen.

This place is located in a bad area. They have been experiencing lots of gas siphoning and steeling of their equipment. I think this place needs to have better security.

The representative was extremely rude and actually hanged up the phone on me on purpose. The whole U-Haul experience was an absolute nightmare. I was moving my elderly mother from Canyon Country to La Quinta. The truck I reserved in Canyon Country on Sierra Highway called two days before our move stating they don't have the truck I reserved and then earnest location was 40 miles away in Lancaster. The Canyon Country office was to give us a miles credit and discount on the truck because the truck in Kacadter was a smaller size. The representative in Lancasterf stated there was no mes discount or a discount on the smaller truck. I never want to go through this experience again so will NEVER use U-Hualevet again. I'll look into Budget or Penske for my next move.

Self check in with the phone was great equipment work fine no problems just at the cab and the back of the van was dirty and I turned it back in cleaner than what it was

The drivers visor was broken and the drivers mirror pushed itself in while driving on the freeway. So I'd say the truck was not well maintained. Also the truck did not have a ramp. I was under the impression that all your trucks had a ramp. This made the move extra difficult.
